The museum is in a lovely setting. The cost is moderate. Viewing Andrew Wyeth's studio was an intimate view of a very private man.

This is a museum devoted exclusively to N.C. Wyeth, Andrew Wyeth and Walter Pyle (N.C.'s teacher). The building itself is quite fine - lots of clean, open areas surrounded by curved glass windows. The paintings are displayed closeup with explanatory signs. The 'tour' includes N.C. Wyeth's studio and home which is actually the most enjoyable and interesting element. The guide was a thoroughly learned art historian who knew everything about the elder Wyeth, his life, his family, his work, etc. The studio and surrounding rooms reflect the interesting, very likable and idiosyncratic Wyeth with all of his acoutrements in-place.I would recommend this tour highly.

I'm a huge lover of illustration art so this is one of my very favorite places. Where else can you see N.C. Wyeth, Maxfield Parrish, Norman Rockwell and Frank Schoonover in the same room. Always wonderful exhibitions and the landscape with the Brandywine River flowing by is beautiful. I can't recommend this wonderful museum highly enough. You won't be disappointed!

Thia lovely museum is right off US 1 in the far southwest suburbs of Philadelphia. Many paintings by NC and Andrew Wyeth as well as other illustrators and PA artists covering 3 floors in a modern, dramatic building overlooking the creek. There are also tours of the home and studios of both NC and Andrew Wyeth. The museum is open daily. Admission is $12 for adults and $8 for seniors. It is free on Sundays. They also participate in the North American Reciprocal Museums (NARM) so membership in one of those museums allows for free admission and free studio tours. A worthwhile stop and is highly recommended.

The artwork is always great and the country location is a nice relaxing way to spend an afternoon. We enjoy going on Sunday mornings to take advantage of the free entrance.
