The Inn has three buildings and I chose to stay in the main building because I like spending time at B&Bs in the public room to talk to people. As it turns out the main room of the Inn is rather small and did not attract people looking for conversation- at least during my stay. However, I also like being able to walk downstairs for breakfast instead of outside (at least in the winter snow). I did curl up in front of the gas fireplace with the paper a few times.
The trade off was that there was no room in the main building with King size bed and fireplace. There are such rooms in the other two buildings and other guests said they were gorgeous. I stayed in the yellow room, Main House #2. It was pretty, cozy and very clean.
Breakfast is in a side room with small tables and done in seatings. I think when all the rooms are booked it must be very busy. The breakfasts were good with a cold buffet with lots of items available for self service and then the wait staff will tell you the choices for the hot entree.
If I travel there again my husband and I would be happy to stay there again.More
