“Quiet Lunch”
Reviewed 1 December 2013

Our server was new so his service was attentive. The pizza was simple, elegant, tasty, and very fresh ingredients. We also had soup which was perfect with fresh vegetables that were not overcooked. It was a late lunch and only one other table was seated.

“Horrible experience, won't be back”
Reviewed 16 November 2013

Went here because we arrived in town on Friday evening (11/15) and other places had long waits. Had a terrible server who always apologized when she came our table and also she did this to the tables on either side of us too. It took forever to get our food and our server apologized again for the wait and said it would be right out....ten minutes later my chicken parm came out but not my husband's pizza (which needed more oven time for the crust) until a few minutes later. Food was mediocre and add in the the slow kitchen and the lousy server we'll spend our dining dollars elsewhere (because we're in the area several times a year) and will encourage others to do so too.

“Good pizza and pasta all handmade.”
Reviewed 1 November 2013

When Johnny first opened the restaurant there was only pizza on the menu and a lot of faith in the future. It has been a struggle but he finally has got it right. The restaurant is nicely decorated and welcoming. The menu is large with a variety of salads, pastas and pizzas. Bread is warm and crusty.
Our salads were large and fresh, my pizza was perfect and my husband's chicken was lovely.
Hard work has paid off and the restaurant was busy.
The one negative thing was service which was slow at the beginning, although it picked up after our salads. Staff training about the menu needs to be improved. When another customer asked what was in the house dressing, our server told him he didn't know because he was new. He didn't offer to find out.

“Very good pizza and Italian food close to Wilmington.”
Reviewed 5 October 2013 via mobile

Fresh ingredients make very good food. Salad, pasta, pizza and desert were very good. BYOB if you want an adult beverage with dinner.

“Needs some work...”
Reviewed 19 September 2013

We were the only ones there- actually wasn't sure they were open as parking lot was empty and the windows are so tinted, can't see anyone inside. Service was OK, food average. If you are looking for pizza, go to Anthony's just across the state line in Delaware.
