My husband and I decided to have dinner here last night after dining here 5 years ago, sadly, it was not what we expected. We like to support local businesses and had high hopes of having a pleasant outdoor dining experience here; thus sad to report that was not the case. The outdoor patio area is in desperate need of a makeover! The patio was once painted and needs to be re-coated, but has been clearly left go. An umbrella beside our table was torn, weathered, and mildewed. The planters look nice, but there needs to be some work in cleaning the outdoor area and giving it more curb appeal. My $8 quinoa and lentil appetizer came out in a tiny cup that had a sizable chunk out of out it/ chipped... a big disappointment for an establishment that advertises itself as fine dining. The feature entree special was scallop corn fritters and fries. My husband ordered this. It was the size of an appetizer and had very few pieces of scallops in it. I had the grilled cheese and gazpacho. Both were very tasty, but it was a lunch-size portion at best. We felt it was overpriced for what it was. The menu options are extremely limited. Our service was average. I was never offered a refill on my water and we had to ask for utensils when our food was served. The interior has a nice ambiance with exposed brick walls and a nice bar! This could be a really neat little restaurant, but it needs improvement!
