I don't shop the mall very much. I take my car to Sears for tire rotations and walk the mall while I am waiting. The mall is clean and nice enough, but there just aren't many stores that I shop at.

Compared to all of the other malls where I have shopped, Chambersburg Mall is below average. The anchor stores are very small. The J. C. Penney always looks like it is going out of business. Sears is so tiny that they don't even sell housewares or linens. Burlington Coat Factory does not have these departments either. I am equally disappointed by BonTon, which has limited sizes and inventory. The movie theater (Carmike) is old and run down, but they still charge the same admission as much nicer theaters. There are some stores that are worth the trip. Victoria's Secret is well stocked. The Hallmark store has a lot to offer. The Shoe Dept. has brand name tennis shoes at excellent prices. The nail salon is small, but nice. I cannot comment on the restaurants because I have never eaten there.

this mall was all the rage in the mid-1980's as it sapped all the life out of downtown Chambersburg, but the geographic center of commerce has moved closer to town with a building boom, maybe the idea of an all indoor mall has passed, this mall is dated, has vacancies and simply does not attract the level of traffic to support interesting stores.

Too many empty store fronts, they have lost so much of what formerly made it an enjoyable mall. Its only redeeming store would presently be Burlington Coat Outlet. Plus there is a Gander Mtn. near the entrance to the Mall.

Let's remember where we are, this isn't King of Prussia. No you won't see Michael Kors, Hugo Boss, Abercrombie & Fitch, or Armani Exchange. Valley Mall in Hagerstown, MD isn't that much better. Yes there are more restaurants, but just 1 exit south of the Cburg Mall takes care of that with Texas Roadhouse, Olive Garden, TGIF's, etc. Bon-Ton, Burlington Coat Factory, J. C. Penney, Sears...a gazillion cell phone stores...what else would you need? Better Sunday hours would be nice.
