I went to Nina's Kitchen for lunch with my best friend, who happens to also be Puerto Rican and we had a wonderful time! My friend had the chicken friccasee-type dish (which she also makes superbly) and it was delicious. I had the pulled pork which was also wonderful. I had the more Dominican red beans and rice, also great. We shared a dish of fried plantains that Nina cooked up just for us (my friend asked) and they were to die for. We finished it off sharing a piece of flan, which was creamy and delicious and a great ending to a fabulous meal. I enjoyed every bite of it, and highly recommend this tiny but tasty restaurant!
