This hotel experience was by far the worst I've ever had. Our room was $90 for a terrible and scary experience. When we arrived the lobby was dirty and smelled a bit, it was old and there were two computers that were at least 20 years old. The worst experience however was yet to come. Our room had very badly scratched and broken furniture. The bedspread had burn holes in it and was yellowed. The pillows were lumpy. There was hair in the sink. The ceiling tile in the corner was lifted up so you could see above the ceiling and it was yellowed all around it. The wallpaper was bubbled in two to three foot strips in several areas. The ironing board was full of nasty rust stains. There was dirt on the floor and tons of dust behind the beds and in the corners of the room. Three of the four lamp shades were ripped, torn or dented. The backsplash in the bathroom was not attached to the wall and was leaning on the faucet. We literally felt afraid. We decided to check out the pool only to discover it was in the basement/dungeon and was non-operational. The only other thing down there was an open door to a custodial area. It was dirty and didn't look safe. The only reason we chose this hotel was on a recommendation of Best Western which was full for the night. OUr flight had been delayed and we were forced to stay the night in Philadelphia. We would have checked out of the hotel, but it was late, we had no car, we had a lot of luggage and we were leaving on a 5:30 am shuttle to catch our flight. This place should be condemned.
