Made Smart Phone Resv while traveling. Our Fault Pulled In -Picture is BOGUS ! Place is a hole.
Looks like a not so well redone Knights Inn.
The clientel are primarily commercial contractors and drivers staying on a contracted rate. They deserve better.
Rooms Dark, Dated, Mattress new but pillows stained. Wonder what theyh were doing with them.
Walked back to the ofc and without saying anything clerk asked whats wrong. She's been there before.
Super 8 should be ashamed of this franchise Vedent

Showed up a bit road weary, but we really wanted to sleep so we pulled off into what was a standard looking Super 8. The person at the front desk didn't bother to ask for a credit card, or an ID, and took our cash and we were off to sleep. The room was beyond dated, I felt I was transported to 1982. It didn't matter, because, like I said, I just wanted to sleep. So I headed to the bathroom, and, wow, it was small and disgusting. It had looked like somebody forgot to clean by the toilet because there were pee-droplets around the toilet. The tub looked like it hadn't been actually scrubbed in a while. It was one of the worst places I have ever slept in.

Being in the oil and gas industry for over 20 years I've stayed in some pretty shady places in the eastern United States. Reading the reviews on trip advisor on the super eight in Clarion was kind of skeptical about having my crew stay here. But when you need 20+ rooms for two weeks you go for a bargain the price was right and was very surprised when I opened my door to see my room had been recently renovated. Yes it's an older motel but they welcomed us rooms are clean and there's plenty of room for our trucks. Most of our rooms already had a refrigerator and microwave the ones who didn't the next day there was a refrigerator and microwave in every room. We've stayed in several super eights in the last six months and it seems like the super a chain is doing the best they can to renovate and make their motels a lot more comfortable to stay in. All I can say is you get what you pay for you want pampered and steak and eggs for breakfast stay at the Hilton you need a place to stay for a couple weeks with your crew and be welcomed and no problems super eight seems great.

I rarely do a bad review. Maybe 5 of 170 were bad. We stayed twice 3 weeks apart, We won't stay again. The first time we entered the lobby to a sign on the desk that said "back in 5 minutes". The place was wide open. 20 minutes later, the clerk shows up with a bag full of food. We had already paid so we had to wait. The room was marginal but cheap. The motel was a knights inn way back and it does not look like there has been any maintenance in 20 years. The parking lot was loaded with potholes. It was late and we just crashed. The breakfast had nothing for diabetics, so, we had to go out for breakfast.
The second nite 3 weeks later was because there were no rooms at any other moderate hotel. The clerk was actually there this time. The room AC did not work and we requested another room. They gave us the one next door. The AC worked but the plaster was falling off the ceiling in sheets. All they did was sweep it up. No attempts at repair. The thing that bothered me most was that the employees had turned the guest pool into their own personal pool...barbecue and picnic too. Employee Kids jumping and splashing in the middle of the pool and not allowing anyone else to actually swim. So much for a GUEST pool. The clerk did not think it was any big deal that employees were monopolizing the pool. The property does have potential. Improvement, though, has to begin with ownership getting clerks who stay on the job and prevent employees from taking over guest facilities. Owners wake up and save your business. Lets see a response to this post saying you are going to clean house and clean up the property.

Room Tip: Pick another Motel

I picked up a coupon book at the rest area and saved a great deal. My pooch travels with me often and it can be very difficult finding a pet friendly location, let alone one without a ridiculous fee. They charge only 10 per pet and the area is great for walking them outside. The rooms are dated but very clean and the breakfast was great.

we arrived early and the lady at the front desk was very helpful, she went out of her way to check us in early. it was a beautiful day outside and we loved the outdoor pool. they provide floating lounge seats, goggles and pool activities for kids - it was great! after many hours on the road with 2 children, it was very nice to be able to relax. thank you, we will absolutely be back our next trip through.
