The food at this restaurant is not as good as it used to be. They add too much onions to make up for other things that should be included. They do have a good cheeseburger sub. I still go here because the price is good and I like the deck. I guess from my point of view there is more to eating out then the food. If you look through reviews you will hear people talk about noise or service at restaurants. Again, I go here when I want a simple sandwich and to just side outside for a while. If you want great food this is not the place.

Food was below average, service was terrible. We received food that was cold, cheesesteaks with unrelated cheese, cold marinara. Worse yet our waitress was nothing short of neglectful and the indifferent and the foodrunners were kids with no direction, what a letdown.

first thing i heard out of there mouths is they utta legalize pott. gave them my order 2 very displeasing cheese steaks, one was suppose to be with out onion, the other with extra cheese and sausce to go with both, then ordered 2 itailian subs one with out cappacola ham and no oil or mayo, the other reg Ita. with ex prob cheese no oil or mayo. when i got home there were onions every where on both, enough for ten steak sand, there cheese is sliced so ******** thin you would have to order exxxxxxxxxxxtra cheese to really enjoy the extra cheese i like on a cheese steak with a (little) onion. the 2 little containers of sausce they could hardly sacrifice wasnt enough to cover a bun!!!the sub i got with out capp ham had no additional salami, in fact there was 4 slices the whole length of the sub roll, 4 slices cheese you can actually see threw and of course enough onions to smell up our next store neibors house, and the best part of all the rolls that were used for the subs could have been used for CLUBS for home defence.4 sandwiches cost me 30.00 dollars even.terrible JOB!!!

For years everyone knew that Smith's had the best cheesesteaks in town. Don't ask me what made them change a good thing but their steaks are a far cry from what they used to be. If you like onions then by all means go there as they start each day piling the grill high with nothing but onions. Once they have reduced somewhat then they place some steak on top and mix it all up. The subs I would be willing to bet are probably 60% onions. You know it's bad when they charge you extra money to get onions not added to your subs. If your in the mood for a cheese steak steer clear of Smith's. On the other hand, if you like cheeseburger subs then they would be the first place I'd go. There's nothing special about them but whatever they do to make them is pretty incredible.
