“Great place for lunch!”
Reviewed 14 October 2013

We stopped here for a late lunch and were not disappointed. The barmaid was friendly and recommended the hot Italian sausage sandwich special. It was great. Fries were cooked just right.
Coupled it with a cold draught beer!
OK, we had been hiking the trails in Cook Forest SP all day and were famished, but it would have been great at any time.

“Nice Place”
Reviewed 7 October 2013

Really not a lot of choices around Cook Forest so we were very fortunate to find Trails End. Ended up having dinner there both nights of our stay. The staff were all very nice and welcoming, the food was great and the price was right. Unless you have reservations at the Gateway Lodge, this is the place to go while visiting Cook Forest.

Reviewed 30 September 2013

nice place to eat, easily accomidated our party of 10 people. I had the blackberry salad and it was great. had the sweet and sour sauce on it and enjoyed it. It was huge and I was able to take half back to the campgrounds. others had steak that were very good. we enjoyed the resturant.

“Good value for the price”
Reviewed 22 September 2013

As there aren't many restaurants in the area, I decided to give the Trails End a go. The burgers looked inviting so I opted for the Southwest Trail sandwich. I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the burger. The certainly didn't skimp on the meat. The burger was topped with cheddar cheese, onion rings, and chipotle sauce. It was more than enough for a lunch. At a little over $9 it was a good value for the price.
