We thoroughly enjoyed our hour plus long trolley trip through the Delaware Water Gap area. We had been there before, but the knowledge of the driver added so much to the experience. Lots of history about the grand old days of the resort area, plus info about the geology, the Native Americans who resided there first, etc. I recommend taking this inexpensive excursion!

This was a relatively inexpensive way to see the area and hear some of the history. Our driver told stories and pointed out some things we never would have discovered on our own. We were then able to return to these spots ourselves and do some exploring. Highly recommend it to first time visitors.

Recommended to us - we were not disappointed. Time slots were booked up but they found 2 seats for my husband and I. The commentary by "Look Alike" was second to none. He knew everything about the area and more. It's a brilliant way to find your way around. We returned to a couple of spots "Look Alike" spoke about to take more photos. We bought a book written by Debby Ketterer "Delaware Water Gap - Then and Now". Debby hails from the UK and served us with our tickets. Loads of lovely things to buy in the shop. Loved the whole experience and would recommend everyone to take a ride in the trolley bus.

We found a brochure for this tour while visiting Camelback for a Bratwurst Festival and thought it sounded interesting since we've lived in the area for 15 years and never done anything like this. We arrived about 45 minutes before the tour on a Thursday morning, and it's a good thing we did because lots of people arrived after us and the next tour sold out. However, we didn't feel it was worth it. The antique bus was cool (though not really a trolley) and even though it was loud we could hear the driver all the way in the back with my noisy 22 month old nephew and some noisy toddlers next to us. The tour itself was very high level and you couldn't see a lot from the bus. It was mostly things like, so and so lived there and so and so lived here. A lot of the things that he points out don't even exist anymore so you're looking at empty spaces. There was some interesting info, but I could probably have gotten the info from a book or found a self guided tour. I wouldn't say it's worth the price or the time, and if you have small kids they definitely get antsy.
