Visited the grill twice in the last two nights, while stopping in Delaware Water Gap off the Appalachian Trail.
It was pleasantly surprising to enter this place, full of activity and people enjoying a night out in what seemed like a very small town. It clearly draws from a larger geographic area than just DWG.
A nice bar with good selection of spirits. The dinner service is a little less even. Last night, an excellent green salad and strip steak, but the Brie and fig appetizer lacked all subtlety and flavor. Tonight, another nice green salad followed by a veal pizzaiata that was heavy and overdone. Nice glass of Pinot noir, though.
So overall, I'd rate the food at a 3, but the ambiance and place in community raises the overall rating to a 4.
