“A true treasure”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 June 2014

One of my favorite places, the Michener is a top notch art museum. Past exhibits include the Grace Kelly retrospective, the art of local artist William B. T. Trego, the Hollywood Costumes exhibit, the world of Jim Henson, and many permanant exhibits such as the Bucks County Impressionists. To see Mr. Michener's writing desk, typewriter and his books and collectibles is thrilling.I'm a proud supporter.

“Excellent Ever Changing Collections”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 June 2014 credit card Amex Cardmember Review

Small museum but their collections are always interesting. They change numerous times during the year so there is always a reason to go back. Friendly staff, mostly volunteers and a nice shop that features the works of Michener and other notable locals.

“Art in a prison”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 June 2014

A great transformation. An art gallery where once prisoners were housed. It is always enjoyable viewing special exhibits, checking out the gift shop and having a cup of coffee indoors or outdoors. A pleasant afternoon's jaunt.

“Nice Pa impressionist art display”

A little disappointing for the price, nice outdoor sculpture garden, exhibits inside were spacious - hard to appreciate a collection of furniture - like the painting best

“Well done exhibits”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 May 2014

My friend & I have kept an eye on this Museum's schedule after seeing the lovely Grace Kelly exhibit earlier this year. We were once again rewarded with a great main exhibit - Paul Evans:
Crossing Boundaries and Crafting Modernism which highlights Mr. Evans' sculpted metal
furniture and other work. He used steel, copper and other metals in unique ways.
Another smaller exhibit "Where Children Sleep" featured photographs by James Mollison.
It was a series of remarkable shots of children from all over the world including a young Geisha -in-training to a Nepali child who works in a quarry.
Both show are unique and worth a trip to Doylestown.
