“Nice Stop For a Cold One”
Reviewed 30 August 2013

Frequent this place whenever riding through the area with my buddies. Great outdoor deck area with great views of the river. Food is fine, nothing spectacular but nothing wrong with it either. Walk up on the deck, grab a cold one and relax....

“Great for bikers AND families.”
Reviewed 8 August 2013

Stopped in before our rafting trip with Lazy River Outfitters. Nice place. There were lot's of bikers who stopped in while out enjoying the scenic roads in the area. I was there with my family and never felt uncomfortable with the bikers. Employees were very friendly. Cost was average and service was excellent.

“Excellent food and atmosphere”
Reviewed 20 June 2013

Stopped in for a beer yesterday while out motorcycling with my son. What a pleasant surprise. I had a chicken cutlet sandwich topped with feta cheese, spinach and red peppers that was fabulous- unlike anything I've ever had at a restaurant. Although this place seems to attract a lot of motorcyclists, I definitely wouldn't call it a "biker bar." There were families there with kids and everyone seemed very comfortable- nice relaxed atmosphere, great view of the Delaware River and train tracks right behind the outdoor deck. Service was excellent, food is outstanding and very reasonably priced. Can't wait to return.

“Horrendous”
Reviewed 14 August 2012

We stopped by the bar one winter afternoon and had a few beers, plan on spending $4-$7 per beer. We happened to be back in the area one afternoon on the last weekend of July so we decided to stop in, sit outside, have a couple beers and lunch. Again the views of the Delaware River are great winter or summer, the beer was good (but I think expensive), however the food was absolutely the worst food I ever ate in my life! I can't even describe how terrible it was other than to say we literally threw it away, paid the check and swore to never go back. We had onion rings, french dip and a chicken cheese steak sandwich. The onion rings tasted as if they were left over from two days ago, deep fried a second time, then served to us. The french dip beef was hard, stiff, dry, just disgusting. The chicken cheese steak was crunchy and just awful. Overall the food was so bad it was literally indescribable. During our first trip to the Riverside Bar we met the owner and spoke with him. Seemed like a nice guy so we thought he should know about the product he is selling. We sent him an e-mail the day after our visit but we never received a response or more so an apology. If you're brave enough to go, bring a lot of money if you're only having beer, but don't waste your money on the food, it's the worst.
