“The only place to stay on Lafayette's Campus”

-and you pay for it. To be fair, the couple who own the Inn are lovely and friendly, the food is delicious and the service is very good. To be honest to those on Trip Advisor who have been honest with me and who (like me) count on objective reports, the Inn is definitely showing its age. The rooms are small and cramped, the floors are creaky, the cleanliness is so-so (the amount of dust build-up in the bathroom's hairdryer was positively gross). The fan for the shower was embarrassingly loud--I didn't want to run it for fear of waking other patrons. Definitely not a $250/night establishment.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review and for providing your honest assessment of your stay with us. We appreciate your comments about our service and food; these are definitely areas we focus on and feel are our real strengths. We take great pride in our cleanliness and have had good feedback about it, however, any lapse in housekeeping is of course inexcusable and we will immediately address the specific items you have mentioned.

They say you can't be all things to all people and we agree. Most of our rooms are designed for double occupancy, but we do have several rooms where a third or fourth person can also be accommodated. If you were a large family sharing one room, we understand why you may have been disappointed in the amount of floor space. We focus on providing great service, an all-inclusive price (full homemade breakfast, Wi-Fi, bottled water, afternoon snacks) in a beautiful, convenient location within the constraints of an historic Georgian mansion. Our room rates start at just $125.

We only stayed for one night (a quick trip) but the Inn was lovely and the rooms cozy and interesting. The breakfast was excellent and most of all the staff was friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. I left a jacket in the closet and without even being asked, the staff offered to mail it to my home. It arrived home the same day I did. Definitely 5 stars for service.

Room Tip: We got a room with a balcony, which was very nice.

Wonderful room and excellent hosts. Son at Lafayette and Inn is only two blocks away from campus.

Excellent breakfast and very nice shower.

Arrived after a two-day drive and was offered a glass of wine when we arrived at Inn. Just what I needed.

Could not have asked for a better place to stay.

We recently stayed at the Lafayette Inn in Easton, PA and it was wonderful! The Inn was historic and beautifully decorated. There was a parlor with home-made chocolate cake, coffee, tea and drinks at our disposal. The dining room was charming, and the breakfast was delicious! The room was well-appoointed and comfortable, and the service was impeccable. It was a lovely stay, and we highly recommend this establishment.

My Shetland sheepdog and I enjoyed a lovely stay of several days here. The friendly, gracious atmosphere and thoughtful gestures were so appreciated: Late for breakfast? "No problem...we held it for you".(Homemade bread for toast, imported jams, banana chocolate chip muffins,in a bright room overlooking the apple trees!) Thank you for all your kindnesses. We hope to stay with you again!ll

We have just discovered this place and love it. Owners are delightful and we spent an hour with them over drinks. Very clean, tastefully decorated, and a breakfast to die for!
Easton is a pretty college town and worth a visit. This B & B is THE place to stay!

Room Tip: They have rooms that cater to pets, with direct outside access (not thru Lobby). Upper floors have n...
