I can only give this hotel 1 star because I really liked Justin, Julia for being so pleasant and helping finding me a clean room, after I had gone through four (4) rooms.
Day 1 - I arrived (in my already reserved room) around 0100. I didn't realize a person has to call if their room had been booked for 4 days. It was room 104 or 108 and it stunk like animals....many animals. There were no other rooms and all that I got was air freshener from the front desk. I used that and Lysol and the room still was nasty smelling and I have asthma and sleep apnea and my lungs were messed up and my CPAP machine picked up the smell. I am finally was able to get moved late morning and was exhausted for my work shift.
On another occassion, I placed my card and to have my sheets changed after finding a brown stain or who knows what. I came to the hotel after work.....the card was placed on my bed (like the sheets were made) WITH THE BROWN STAINED PILLOW ON TOP! The front desk did send someone to give me clean sheets. On my way home, I began to wonder if the bedspreads were changed and was smart enough to bring my own comforter and blanket on my next trip. I felt as if I needed an sos pad to get clean. I even thought that staying in between my sheets made was the cleanest part ofy room.
I will submit more information about what I discovered on the last trip ever as soon as I am able. It involved dog hair, dirty blankets, all sorts of hair on the blankets (including pubic hair and I mean more than a couple), unlabeled prescription drugs left behind, things that remained in one of the rooms that I stayed in the week before.
After staying at this hotel for the past 15 plus years.....The beds are horrible unless you make sure you get a room with the new mattress and box springs. Trust me, after seeing the old ones in the dumpster, I checked 3 different rooms until I found one that had the new beds. The front desk said they didn't know which rooms had the new mattresses. REALLY? The front desk staff needs help with the customer service. They are NOT friendly NOT helpful and act as if you are bothering them when you try to check in. The breakfast people the same atttiude. The breakfast doesn't deserve my time of mentioning. The breakfast area is poorly situated, the milk far from the coffee. The toaster right in the middle ---far away from the bread; and was holding up the line. They really need a MAJOR remodel..not just the beds. As others mentioned stains in the carpets in the halls, the furniture should of been thrown away long ago. The blankets have holes in them. Think before you stay!
