This was a pretty good choice for our brief stay on family business. Ten minutes from the airport, five minutes off I-95, the location was good. (There's a Mariott right in the airport though.)
Reception staff were friendly and efficient.
We asked for a quiet room, got the last room on the top floor, and never heard a sound. There was a nice view of the adjacent river and boatyard. The king bed was comfortable. The bedside lamps had convenient AC sockets. The bathroom wasn't the most modern, and had no hooks for clothing, but there were plenty of towels and the non-skid in the tub-shower was excellent. The bathroom door latch didn't catch, even after we mentioned it to the front desk.
The free breakfast packed an amazing variety into a small space. Scrambled eggs, sausage, crisp bacon, creamed chipped beef and biscuits, all kept hot. Bagels, sweet rolls, and hot cinnamon buns. Yogurt, cereal, a small selection of fruit (this isn't vegan country), and a machine that rolled out fresh-cooked pancakes that weren't very good, but the novelty was worth it. Other than the pancakes, everything was pretty good and the warm stuff was kept warm. Quite a good job for a little buffet. Could have done without the TV on ESPN though.
We didn't use the free wired internet in the room, but did use one of the two free computers in the Business Center off the lobby to print our boarding passes.
We returned our rental car the night before our early flight, to give us time for breakfast and not be rushed the next morning. The morning shuttle was fine, but getting it at the airport the night before was typical of some of the other complaints here. We called, but the driver picked up someone else five minutes earlier so didn't wait for us. After four more phone calls and 40 minutes we were picked up by a chatty driver who said far too much, but somehow omitted "I'm sorry for the delay."
One thing to watch out for - if you check prices using TripAdvisor, some of the reservations offered will be at The Waterfront, next door. The hotels have the same ownership, and used to be run together, but The Waterfront is a much older, and much cheaper, property.
