We just came back from our stay at Glasbern, and I am already looking forward to going again. The room was beautiful. There were many little 'extra's' that we didnt expect. Such as clock with iphone charging dock, keurig coffee maker, wine glasses, fireplace, and wonderful down comforter. We had our dinner in the pub, and since we ate early and it was a weeknight, we had the whole place to ourselves. It was very cozy and relaxing. The food was excellent, especially the ham (panini). Breakfast (included) the next morning was exceptional. We had fresh farm eggs, bacon, potatoes (best ever) and pancakes. They had a nice selection of beverages and some cereal and pastries available while we waited for our food. Overall a very nice place to get away...even if its just for a day. I wish we could have stayed for more than one night. Definately will stay longer in the future.

Glasbern inn was everything my fiancé and I were looking for as a birthday/ pre Holliday getaway to decompress. The farm house was beautiful and relaxing! The food was slightly over priced for dinner but breakfast was well worth it.

Charming rustic Inn. The room (stables suite) was wonderful, very spacious, spiral stairs leading to whirpool tub, nice amenities (robe, fridge, flat screen, large shower, sleep number bed). The fireplace added to the charm although we had a hard time with the wood and keeping the fire lit. We enjoyed a lovely dinner in the main house and the food was superb. Wonderful getaway for anniversary, birthday.

Six days into our fall foliage road trip we reached Glasbern Inn. We had already stayed at several Inns and/or B&Bs. None compared with Glasbern. From the size of our room- room 65 in the Pack House to the sleep number bed, to the linens, to the products- organic, to the jacuzzi tub providing a view to the fireplace, to the hillside views- breathtaking at every glance, Glasbern is just special. There are walking paths scattered throughout the property, flowers everywhere which makes for a serene setting.
Our advice is do not make reservations to dine here if you want to dine in a hurry. Glasbern is a place for relaxation. Take a deep breaths and enjoy a two hour meal. The food is lovely especially the creme brûlée!

We stayed here overnight with our puppy in one of the lower level suites in the sables. The room was huge and had a small outdoor patio and a grass access which was great for the dog. The rooms itself was lacking privacy a bit but because we had the dog we had to be on the lower level. Nice fireplace, hot tub, comfortable bed. We ate dinner at the restaurant: food was delicious, however the ambiance was lacking. I with they would have put a table cloths on the tables, and worked a bit on the room to make it more cozy and less like a hotel lobby. The service was good. We will definitely return since it is only an hour from Philadelphia.

My wife and I had a great weekend away as a birthday present. This was our second trip to the Glasbern Inn where the first was for a birthday party and we were part of a large group who attended the party and stayed for the weekend. We enjoyed it so much we chose to come back for a nice relaxing weekend alone.

We ate dinner in the pub on Friday night and the food was very good and then we retired back to our room. As it was cold we had a fire in the fireplace and enjoyed having a real fire, not just an prefabricated log (e.g., duraflame log). Breakfast was very enjoyable and service was very quick. We walked around the property after breakfast and it began to snow. We went back to our room and it was already cleaned so the timing was perfect. We spent the rest of the day just relaxing knowing we didn't have to go anywhere and just enjoyed our room in the Carriage House including the whirlpool tub and again the fireplace. Dinner was fantastic and even though it was a Saturday night it was not very crowded (partly due to the snow) service was great. We walked around after dinner and took a number of pictures on the Inn in the snow; it was so beautiful with the snow on the trees, looking like a painting. We also enjoyed our four poster bed, a bit high especially for my wife so she had to use the steps but very comfortable with the sleep number mattress. We also had wireless Internet access in our room so was able to send out some pictures of our weekend. By Sunday, the snow was mostly melted but we enjoyed one last walk around the property and then packed up and went home. We really enjoyed the time away from our busy lives and it was a very relaxing weekend. We plan on returning again next year and want to try yet another room. I highly recommend the Glasbern Inn for a romantic and relaxing time away.

Room Tip: The web site has good views of the rooms so helped us chose the rooms.

We stayed at the Glasbern Inn this past June when traveling to the area to attend a wedding nearby. The grounds, with gardens, ponds and water features, guest houses and restored lodge work to create an idyllic place out of time where you can relax and enjoy. The food at the restaurant is very good (though very expensive) with produce grown on the farm right there, and Sunday brunch offerings are delicious. There happened to be a wedding going on the weekend we stayed there, and what a lovely venue it was for the occasion. We almost wished we were attending the Glasbern wedding instead. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.
