best ribs and fudge in the state! great candles and country store gifts, really enjoyed the gem mining for the kids, and the kielbasi was great. like the old man at the door, and the sawdust flooring, reminds me of a country general store when i was a kid.

The country store is right off of Interstate 84 and has lots of fun items. We picked up some cute things and it was all reasonably priced.

We visited especially for the gem mining. The store has a lot of stuff, and we found some interesting things, but we were really disappointed in the service. Several staff members just walked by us and never offered to help, and finally we had to ask someone to take care of us. Then, we discovered that a couple of things were missing from our "Dinosaur Bucket", things that were listed on their website and paper stating what you would find when mining that bucket. The staff, after we asked, got us what should have been in the bucket, reluctantly. There was one gentleman though, who was out back on break, who was very helpful, very friendly. Too bad we didn't get him to wait on us when we first arrived, it would have been a pleasurable experience. If you are "in to" rocks, be sure to check out back and along the side of the building. While you will have to ask a price, they do have some unique finds.

We apologize regarding our customer service this week. I remember this week you missing the Amethyst in your pail. We did take care of this for you! This week we had 10 delivers of new merchandise for the holidays. Our small business is built on customer service. Next time you are in the area I want to offer you a pail of gems on us. We are sorry for your bad experience you had and I will never let this happen again. Thanks, Lisa

Really enjoyed the store, the BBQ, and everything to see on the property! So much to see in the store, too, and the prices are much better than other stores closer to NY and NJ. Bought some very unique Dandelion Jelly which I've never seen anywhere else. BBQ was reasonable also - and quick. Smoked brisket was very good. Burger and fries at the next table looked amazing, and the burger was huge. BBQ Sauce had a bit of a kick, so I didn't use much. Ribs were a little too greasy for our liking, but others might like them that way. And they even had unique Mexican sodas with flavors like Mango and Sangria. Owner and staff were fantastic!!!

Rode up to Greentown on bike. We stopped in 84 Country Store, we were immediately greeted by Lisa ( four letter word). Lisa is very funny, ask her to sing her fudge song. We bought horseradish mustard and strawberry/rubarb jam. Both are amazing. The fudge is delicious. Thanks for a fun visit.
