We just got back from the Warehouse Gourmet Bistro and it was such a great experience. We got there about 6:45 - 7:00. There was a wait, so we went up to the pub for a drink. A very knowledgeable waitress, Amber, explain the beers and steered us to ones that we would like. They were perfect for our individual tastes. The atmosphere reminds me of a small restaurant in a big city. It is a relaxed and laid-back place. The wait-staff was accommodating, attentive and knew their stuff. While it is a small restaurant, it didn't feel crowded. The food was delicious. I highly recommend the crab fondue and the goat cheese and apple salad. The dressing was fabulous. I am running out of adjectives. We had such a great time in a place like no other in Hanover. Don't miss this restaurant. We cannot wait to go again.

Visited this little Bistro in Hanover, Pennsylvania on our trip to Gettysburg. It is a two story restaurant/brew pub, offering a full menu (mostly on the lighter side - but there are some entrees offered). We ordered the Tarragon Chicken Salad, the Turkey Stinger and the Roast Beef with bacon and BBQ sandwiches. All were served with a bleu cheese cole slaw that was excellent. All the food was of good quality. We were pleasantly surprised with all the home brews. They offer a "flight" of tastings. Staff were very attentive and knowledgeable about the food as well as the beer. They could not have been nicer. We ate in the upstairs pub, which had a casual atmosphere. If you have children, the downstairs part of the restaurant would better suit your needs. Their home brews were diverse and I'm sure they will have one to fit everyone's taste. Specials on the food change weekly, and the brews also change on a regular basis.

Hanover is about 14 miles from Gettysburg. The Warehouse Gourmet is a little tricky to find, but well worth the trip. Looks like it might be a good place for a late night snack and a beer or two.

the food definitely deserves 5 stars...best side salads i've seen in quite some time--bountiful & with a nice selection of handmade dressings. interesting, tasty entrees & the hot foods are served steaming hot. plus a delicious variety of housemade desserts.
i wish reservations were available--it must be difficult to estimate table wait times and our experience was particularly rough. the bar upstairs was full & the only other waiting area is outside--not so good when it's pouring rain. a 35 minute predicted wait time stretched into more than an hour. the special & another entree & a few of the desserts were then no longer available...
some of the staff are exceptional and those fellas who carry drinks to the bistro from the bar upstairs really work hard.
i can certainly understand why the locals love this place. and i plan to try again. but next time, i'll have a plan b in the hanover area, just in case.

Have been here a number of times and have lovely, fresh cooked meals every time. It's a glorious change from the standard chain restaurants and their own brew beers are fantastic.

Most of us locals know this is the go to place for excellent food. We have not had anything from menu we did not enjoy. The home made breads are to die for, the beer enticing and the food no other restaurant in Hanover can compare! Love this place !!
