The server was friendly and the coffee was far from being luke warm. The home fries are just as good as the previous owners'. The meat is obviously cooked fresh. If you have some patience on weekends you'll get great service and even better food. And their lunch specials are hard to resist.

Atmosphere was more open without clutter/dust. Food was great and coffee, too! Price is very reasonable especially the 2-2-2 for $2.22 and the coffee and drinks at a reasonable price. If only the waitress would've been in a good mood, it would've made for a more pleasant breakfast date for my spouse and I. We'll be back for the food and hope the good tip has put a smile on our server's face.

We eat breakfast out every Sunday, and since I'm a vegetarian, I get basically the same veggie omelet. So, in a nutshell, the omelet was good, the toast was toasted - often, I think the bread is just waived in front of the toaster - the potatoes were tasty though a little greasy, and the coffee was lousy. Each cup, whether brought to the table or poured from the pot, was luke warm. And since there was only whole milk at the table, the end result resembled muddy water. This is a big deal with me because part of eating out on Sunday morning is washing down my breakfast with numerous mugs of hot coffee. Otherwise, the restaurant itself is really nice. The open floor plan allows you to look right into the kitchen and everything is very clean. The staff is friendly and attentive.

We frequent this Sunday Mornings after early church for breakfast. Very nicely decorated with country school theme. Love the large chalk board on back wall. Not sure if original or not but nice touch. Food is awesome, highly recommend the country ham with your breakfast. Restaurant is clean, food is home cooked flavor and served hot. Staff friendly and always helpful.

The schoolhouse recently re-opened under new management, the down home atmoshpere, food and service was incredilble. good to see such a memorable place re-open its doors, i eat there every weekend. good people, better food!
