The rooms are fairly small but mostly just because it's cramped with the furniture in them (bed, end tables, chair, etc). It's definitely manageable for a short-term stay. The rooms are average in cleanliness and decor (I've several times noticed hair on the carpet (not from my head) and the decor is slightly dated.) During my most recent stay here I had trouble with the water pressure in the shower - it would completely shut off every minute or so and then come back on. I was still able to get a solid shower in, just with a few kinks along the way. The bathrooms are arranged a little awkwardly and are also cramped.
The staff is very nice and helpful (that's including the valet staff too). The fitness room has decent cardio equipment and some free weights and a reasonable view across the river outside large windows, which is nice. And the location of the hotel itself is very convenient. It's basically right off the highway and it's walking distance to restaurants, the capitol, shops, the river, etc.
It's a good hotel considering its location but nothing fancy.More
