Love that this restaurant is so close now that it's on Linglestown Road. The food is always good and the service is great. We usually dine here once every two weeks. Try it, you'll like it! And, take your favorite bottle of wine.

This restaruant is now on Linglestown Road and is better than it was before. Food is fresh, inventative and feaures lots of daily specials. Bring your own wine if you want. Try the soups, they are fabulous! Pasta A La Kahli is great; tons of shrimp, scallops, etc Ever Wednesday night is a different steak special. TRY THIS OUT.

Located in what had been the Old Chocolate Cafe. Call for rersrvatoins on Friday and Saturdays!

You will not be disappointed.

This was a great restaurant and sports bar - too bad it closed mid-2011. I miss it!

On the recommendation of our local food editior, we decided to try La Piazza. Based on her record, we should have known better. Traditionally, when she recommends a particular restaurant or dish, the opposite is true -- and this time was no different. We all ordered different items, and we could not finish. The best things about the evening were the bread and service provided by a very apologetic waitress. The "al dente" angel hair pasta was so starchy and soft that it stuck together. Apparently the chef had no concept of what constituted al dente/firm. The Eggplant Parmigiana, which the food editor so raved about quantity and quality, were a mere two fried small slices. They were breaded in coarse breadcrumbs and topped with a sprinkling of a bit of overcooked tomato sausce (rather, paste) and a few strands of shredded mozzarella barely heated to melt (the assembled slices were not baked). Apparently the eggplant slices weren't "sweated" during the preparation to eliminate the bitterness... And the bill was comparable to one you'd receive at a 5-star restaurant in New York City We agreed nerver to return and to look the other way at this editor's recommendations. She apparently has no concept of the meaning of "down home, honest, and authentic Italian food" (her adjectives)..

We were very lucky to find this little gem still open after our long day at Hershey Park. It is right across the parking lot from Homewood Suites Harrisburg East-Hershey Area where we were staying. The staff was very friendly even at the late hour and pending their closing hour. My best friend and I were not feeling very hungry after our long day, but we knew once we had a rest then we would be starving. We started off with a nice mixed drink without having to worry about driving since our hotel was right next door. Then next onto the entree, which we had decided on a personal deep dish pizza for each of us. Before the food arrived we were already pleased with the prices, however, once our food arrived then we realized just how great a deal. Our personal deep dish was rather large, and even though it was sliced into 4 pieces I wasn't even able to finish my first slice. Though, I had to fight my cravings, because this was one of the best personal pepperoni deep dish pizzas that I have ever tasted. We were very happy to take the leftovers with us to our room, and after a rest we were thrilled at another shot at the pizzas. Given they were great to start, but they were even better reheated. I even had plenty left over for dinner the next night. I highly recommend you swing by La Piazza if not just for the deep dish pizza.
