I love farm to table restaurants and Home 231 didn't disappoint. The menu is filled with unique combinations of wonderfully fresh veggies. The grilled asparagus and tomato salad was delicious and the sea scallop entree over an avocado cream with fingerling potatoes and roasted corn was just the right portion size and very flavorful.
it is definitely a place to experience your food and enjoy the fact that it comes from regional farmers.
The cost is on the higher end, but worth it.
The service was a bit slow though. I was there with my husband and another couple. We waited about 30 minutes to get our starters and salads (which all came together) and then 2 entrees arrived, a few minutes passed and the next one came and finally after several minutes the last one. So there was room for improvement on that but we weren't in a hurry and the great food made up for it.
