My boyfriend and I live about 30 miles outside of Harrisburg, however we are frequently in the city due to the social scene (AKA bars and restaurants lol). We usually crash at a friend's place, however for our anniversary we decided to rent a room at City House. Not only was it an amazing location and a charming building, but it was fairly inexpensive. We figured we would pay the same if we stayed in the Hilton or Crown on 2nd street (Also no extra parking fees at City House, so it could have worked out to be much less)
Very cute room, great breakfast. We loved the 24 hour coffee bar and fridge provided for guests. The large dual head shower was very nice! The only slight negative is that as with any old house the walls are paper thin. So if you are a very light sleeper, this may not be the place for you. I highly recommend. We will be back.
