Very accommodating to our children who had not tried Indian food. Staff was pleasant. We had chicken, lamb, seafood and dessert and it was loved by young and old alike.

This is hands down the best Indian cuisine in Central Pennsylvania. The staff are friendly and provide service you would expect in a four star restaurant. The food is consistently good. If you like spicy get the vindaloo.

Yes, there aren't many Indian restaurants in the region, so this has to rank both high and low among them. I eat here about 10 times a year, and it just seems to be getting sloppier and more expensive. The chicken korma was salty, for god's sake. Vegetarian food is getting strong. Mango lassi is small and expensive. In general, the restaurant is overpriced, some dishes like korma and mattar paneer can be terrible, and others can be surprisingly good. The insanity is in the pricing, where even vegetarian entrees start at $14.

Snuggled right up next to the riverside Comfort Inn, this is a convenient place to spend a little time unwinding from one'straveling day. We're wimps whe it comes to hot (spicy) food; our waiter patiently steered us away from the more pungent menu choices and we enjoyed a safely bland selection that was still pleasantly different from our normal diet.

After having stumbled into this restaurant a few years ago when collapsing at the hotel next door, we were totally awed. Since then, we've used every possible excuse on our long trips to route ourselves through Pennsylvania to enjoy their marvelous food again. They have a specially put together individual meal with five or six dishes that's honestly one of the best meals we've ever eaten. An exquisite soup, lovely rice, a vegetarian dish, a spicy chicken-tikka-masala-like dish that beats every other butter-chicken-like imitator we've ever seen, and a hauntingly good lamb curry that tops everything else we've ever tried. Every time we come through here, we have that combo -- and one time, when we got there so late they were about to close, we persuaded them to make it up to go so we could eat next door. The next morning, full of delight, we actually delayed our trip so we could try out the lunch buffet -- and it too was tremendous. Pretty location, too, right on river in the state capital. Believe me, this place is well worth going out of your way for. We have many times, and will again. Kind hosts/owners, fabulous service and stunningly good meal!!!
