“Small Town Surprise”
Reviewed 25 August 2014

Came with a group from a near-by campground area. We were so pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. The setting and the ambiance were so charming. We sat inside but had a wonderful view of the gardens, which we visited after dinner. The food was delicious and well described. There were ample selections for vegetarians and carnivores and the desserts were also incredible. We had such an all around good experience for all the senses. I would definitely come back and would consider staying at the inn also. We stopped in the gift shop and found some wonderful gifts there as well. Overall a magnificent treat!

“Cute...If You Like Your Grandma's House”
Reviewed 23 August 2014

This is probably my 4th or 5th visit to the Settlers Inn. The room and property have been upgraded substantially, and it still maintains its old world charm. The grounds are lovely, the furnishings are nice. I am a little perplexed by the very commercial toilets...they don't fit with the rest of the decor. I digress. The bar is nice, the restaurant is great and free breakfast (not like the kind where you make your own pancakes out of that squirty machine) are included. The one downside this trip. Not sure if he was a manager or what, but had to witness and listen to an uncomfortable discussion...if that is what you want to call it...with a bartender where he was ripping him over inventory. Probably a discussion best had when customers aren't actually sitting there.

“Wonderful food and atmosphere”
Reviewed 21 August 2014

Great food, great service in a beautifully restored home. The home was built in the early part of the 19th century and abandoned.

“A Wonderful Experience”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

We arrived and were seated promptly. We are outside on the patio with a lovely view of the gardens. The waitress was excellent We started with fresh warm bread. My son-in-law had the Corn Bisque along with the Blueberry and Grilled Peach Salad. My daughter had the Trout and Baby Kale Salad w/Hazelnut Brittle (pictured below) and side of the Bok Choi. My wife and I had the Forks Farm Chicken Roulade with Peach Salsa (also pictured below). The presentation was excellent. The sauce was spicy and delightful. The portions were just enough for you to feel completely satisfied. The restaurant is farm to table so the ingredients are local and fresh. If you want a hamburger joint, don't come here. If you want to experience fine dining with excellent service you came to the right place,. It is not cheap, but is an outstanding value. You get what you pay for. You will not be disappointed by dining here, All in all, one of the finest meals I have out in a long time. WELL DONE....

“Delightful brunch on the deck”
Reviewed 15 July 2014

Had a very delightful brunch on the deck of the Settler's Inn. The menu had several unique items and our choices were of the highest quality. We also enjoyed wine and desserts which were out of this world!! I would highly recommend this restaurant !
