This was our first trip to Woodloch Pines and had a great time! Our vacation was a last minute decision and after finding Woodloch so well reviewed on TripAdvisor we thought we'd give it a try. The booking agent (Katie I think) was so accommodating to get us in the Mountain Laurel building as we requested (2nd or 3rd floors seemed more quiet and room 728 was great), The rooms were very clean and the meals were good with lots of variety for my picky 16 year olds with nut allergies. All of the staff from the waiters to the shuttle drivers to the owners/family members welcoming you and making sure everything was excellent for your family. It really felt like a cruise on the land like others have mentioned. Some of the activities that my boys liked were extra so it cost a bit more but understandable (zip line, Segway, rifle range and paintball). My only complaint/suggestion to improve is that we wanted to do more of the rifle range and they could not accept cash or credit card after we checked out. Maybe consider getting a "square" or portable card reader for that area. I would definitely recommend Woodloch to others and will be back.

Room Tip: Mountain Laurel 2nd or 3rd floor provides quieter room with view of the lake. The shuttle ran every...

Thank you for your visit to Woodloch, and for taking the time to share your thoughts.

We are happy to hear that your first visit was a positive one. We’re glad that the meals, accommodations and activities all clicked and were enjoyable for you. We are actually in the midst of a process that will someday make charging anything additional easier for our guests- it is, though, a work in progress.

Again, we are delighted to hear that you had a pleasant escape, and look forward to welcoming you back in the future!

I stayed for 5 nights in June as part of our biennial family reunion (17 people total - 10 adults, 7 kids aged 2-10). It was perfect! The room was very nice, with a good selection of toiletries, comfortable beds, a small fridge and a separate dressing area, which I liked having. We were in the main building, which was very convenient for getting to/from the dining room (which was good because it rained every day we were there!), and we had direct access outside as well.

We were on the breakfast/dinner plan and the food was delicious, although arguably a bit too plentiful! The menus changed daily and everything was great - and I am happy to say, as a vegetarian, I had more than enough options. The dining room had a lovely view of the lake, so it was a very pleasant setting to take our meals. All of the servers were wonderful! Note - if, like us, you're not on the lunch-inclusive plan, there are several places you can buy lunch, including a little deli tucked into the Inn a little bit up the road, where we ate at most days.

Over the course of our stay, our group took advantage of - bumper boats, bumper cars, the indoor playground, batting cages, go-karts, the shooting range, the indoor pool, the fitness center, paddle boats, canoeing on the lake, ziplining, bingo (oh how I loved the daily bingo games), trivia, etc. As I mentioned before, we had bad weather almost the whole time we were there, but we certainly had no shortage of things to do - we stayed busy and had a great time. The nightly entertainment was fun as well - there was a juggler, a magician, a ventriloquist, "horse racing" (fun!) and a few staff shows. Anything Sammy is involved in is guaranteed to be a great time - I especially recommend his one-man show. My husband and I also took a trip down the road to the Lodge for a massage, which was fantastic and the facilities were beautiful.

Overall, this was a perfect place to hold our family reunion. Comfortable rooms, pretty setting, friendly staff, delicious food, plenty of fun activities for all ages. The only thing that would have made it better was if the weather had cooperated a little bit more! I hope to be back for another family reunion some day!

Abbalish-
Thank you for your recent stay, and for taking the time to review our property.

We’re happy to hear that your reunion at Woodloch was the special event that it ought to be. No matter what Mother Nature may have in store for us, we do our best to create an environment where multiple generations can spend time together and have a good time. We’re also glad that you were able to secure some “quiet time” at The Lodge at Woodloch, our sister property.

Thank you once more for your stay, and we hope to see you soon!

They also have another place called the Woodloch Lodge. What a great place to vacation, especially with a family. There are tons of things to do. You can be busy or just relax, you pick. Great wooded area with beautiful views. All the staff were fantastic and very helpful and really nice. The lodge and grounds are spotlessly clean, beautiful and relaxing; such a great property.

They have a musical revue show on Wed. and Sat. nights. It is preformed in a very large "Showroom." The night we were there the show was an "80's Musical Revue." What an outstanding event that featured excellent professional entertainers. One of the outstanding singers and stars was Jennifer Kiesendahl! Wow, what a voice and entertainer. She did a variety of songs, and did a great Whitney Houston song, sounded just like her. We heard other people say Jennifer gets better every year. Is that really possible?

Also really enjoyed the golf course.

Just go, be relaxed

We’re glad that you were able to enjoy your time both here at Woodloch Pines Resort and The Lodge at Woodloch, our spa sister property. The staff at Woodloch is really amazing. Without exception, every one of them went above and beyond to provide excellent and genuine service. (For example, I was walking through the grounds and one of the landscapers on a cart pulled over to get my attention just to let me know my shoe was untied!)

Accommodations: Our home in Woodloch Springs was beautiful and fully equipped - our linens were top notch, the beds were super comfortable and the home had multiple flat screen TVs and Blu-ray players. The grounds throughout both Woodloch PInes and the Springs are kept impeccably.

Activities: This is the area where Woodloch really hits it out of the park. There is no reason for anyone to be bored. (except if all they want is to relax by the lake or pool!!) The kids were going all day and there are things for all ages, even in inclement weather. The indoor and outdoor splash pools were great for the toddlers. They had a blast.

Food: I would say it is pretty good, considering the huge volume of people they have to serve within small windows of time, there are options that are served quickly. If you're looking for Michelin three star cuisine, this is not the place. But, I had a beef tenderloin that was cooked as I ordered it with some nice red potatoes and salad. There is a choice of a 3 meal plan or 2 meal plan. Honestly, I would suggest the 2 meal plan simply because breakfast is huge and no one really wanted to leave the pool/beach/activities to go to the dining room for lunch anyway. (Alcoholic beverages are additional.)

Adult evening entertainment: This is an area where Woodloch could improve. I'm sure many families like ours come with extended grandparents, etc in tow who are willing to watch the sleeping kiddos while the parents get a little r&r, but the options were not of great variety or quality for that.

Other items: It may seem like nitpicking, but the resort should really upgrade the TV service to HD. I'm sorry, but we're paying a pretty hefty price and that seems to be a fairly standard amenity now.

If you're booking a trip, plan on arriving early on arrival day and staying late on departure day! You can start using the resort even if your room isn't ready at 10am. Even though you have to be out of your room by 11am on check out day, you're welcome to continue using the amenities until 6pm on check out day.

NYC DURKIE-

Thank you for your stay, and for taking the time to share a few of your thoughts and ideas with us.

We’re glad to hear that you had an overall positive stay with us. As always, we’re happy to hear that little things our staff do that make the difference between a good vacation and a great vacation. While the vast majority of our activities are family friendly, treatments, excursions, and classes at The Lodge at Woodloch (about a mile down the road from the main property) offer adults a chance to escape to a more relaxed and adult oriented setting. Babysitting services are available upon request at our main front desk.

Again, we appreciate the feedback, and hope that we can share our hospitality with you again in the future.

I have been going to Woodloch since I was a kid and my family has recently made this an annual tradition. This year we stayed in Woodloch Springs and were able to rent a house that accomodated 8 ppl. The desing of the house was perfect as each room had its own bathroom and the downstairs was basically a full blown apartment. Plus, the mattresses are super comfortable.

The creativeness of the staff never ceases to amaze me with the games they come up with. The lake is beautiful whether it's sunrise, sunset or anytime in between. There are kayaks, paddle boats, row boats, sailboats, water skiing, etc.

Bottom line, this is the place to go if you have a family and want that feeling of a good old family vacation. No matter how old you are you will have fun.

Just returned from Woodloch Pines, so sad. I'm not much of a traveler, but staying at Woodloch was the best experience in traveling I have ever had. Excellent accommodations, superior service and so much to do. If you have kids and like to compete, the social staff with their high energy will keep you energized as you compete in completions like the family double dare, Survivor, and pool games. Lots for the little ones too, the Woodloch forest was the favorite for my kids. I would highly reccomed a vacation at Woodloch, can't wait to go back!

Had so much family fun with our kids! We loved getting the daily schedule and deciding what we were going to do at breakfast each morning. The food was good enough. Cocktail (kids version and adult version) were extra.
