“Nice stay.”
Reviewed 24 August 2014

Had to pick someone up the next morning and needed a place to stay for one night. Usually stay at the Lodge at Woodloch when I am in the area but this makes up for in views what it lacks in on site amenities. I stayed in a contemporary 2 level room and it was all I could have wanted or needed for the night. Nice clean room and because of a storm I stayed in for the night and ate at the bar in the restaurant downstairs which serves small plates and was pretty decent.

Room Tip: Could hear people walking around above me and it was louder than usual while staying in a hotel but...

We visited the first weekend they were opened after the fire. Everything was new and very nice. The room was quite unique a spiral metal staircase to a loft bedroom with attached full bath. Our view was up towards the old power station and on the other side down the river. Very beautiful. We ate at their sister hotel restaurant, everything was wonderful. Take a trip through Hawley to Honesdale and visit Day's Bakery. Opened in 1952 wonderful.

Room Tip: Request a loft room.

It was our first time staying at Ledges hotel and we definitely enjoyed it! We booked the one room jacuzzi suite.

We unfortunately had to be moved to a different room because the night before we arrived the jacuzzi was broken, but Terry (employee) was very helpful with getting us a new room and also discounted the price of the room to make up for the inconvenience.

It's a nice and quiet location, and everyone we met were really nice!

The bed was SUPER comfortable and the modern decor was great.

View of the waterfall was really pretty and peaceful.

Good restaurants- Cora's Bistro (lunch) and Settlers Inn (breakfast)

Recently enjoyed an overnight stay at The Ledges. Lovely, historic old glass factory converted into a beautiful hotel. It is peaceful, and very scenic. There was a jazz/blues band on Sunday night that we totally enjoyed. Everything you could need was provided in the room including a lovely soaking tub to take advantage of. Already making plans to return.

Room Tip: If they do not ask, make sure when choosing a room that is on the second or third floors and faces t...

My boyfriend and I stayed here with a friend in 2013, while attending a music festival in scranton. it's a simply amazing place to stay if you get the chance. I work as a front desk clerk at a historic hotel in VA, The Mimslyn Inn, so they offered me a discounted rate as an employee. I highly recommend this hotel to any guests from Pennsylvania or heading north as I check them out of the hotel. We decided to come back this year, and attend the same music festival again this year. apparently, the hotel had just recently opened after a devastating fire on Valentine's Day. despite that, everyone was just as accomodating as the first time we visited. I didn't get a chance to enjoy the tea in the lobby this year (a must during your stay, so delicious!), nor did we get to try the restaurant(it was closed the year before as well!). BUT we did go out onto the ledges on our departure day and took some AMAZING photos! I will upload them soon! Thanks again for the wonderful vacation!

Wow what a place! Gorgeous setting. Hotel sits alongside of a waterfall. Beautifully decorated lobby with modern decor and views of the falls. Our room was comfortable, quiet with the best sheets and comforter, so soft. Almost bought the set to take home. Stayed sunday and monday night taking advantage of the Blues,Brews & Barbeque--which was fantastic. Staff couldn't have been more attentive to service. Do visit the mill marketplace in the old Silk Mill just a short walk up the hill with art and boutique shops. Will definitely be returning!

Room Tip: Rooms on first floor are quiet, but front ones face parking lot,so ask for one facing the falls. Be...

Had the pleasure of staying overnight during a Summer Barbecue concert night. Such a beautiful setting in the falls. Our food was amazing. Staff was extremely engaged and committed to excellent service. Room was simple and elegant...felt like a peaceful getaway. Next time we stay we'd look for the larger multi level rooms.
And topped it all off by the best breakfast at The Settlers Inn.
We can't wait to sneak away again soon!
