What a great place for chocolate lovers. I never realized how many different products that Hershey produced from several different kisses, Reese's products, syrups, sundae toppings, There are lots of souvenir shirts, hats, and other items. We did the Chocolate World tour which is the only free thing to do that was entertaining. The Chocolate Trolley, 4D movie, and a few other things are all extra cost a la Disney. We managed to spend an hour and spent more money that e wanted. Great for kids.

Short and sweet. Why does the Hershey’s chocolate bought here taste so much better than the candy from the grocery store? Are there seriously two different kinds of Hershey’s products? Because what we purchased at Chocolate World was EXCELLENT and very fresh. I recommend setting a budget before you go AND walk through all of the areas before making selections. They have gourmet and regular choices. The tours are reasonably priced. We didn’t eat at the food court having had a fabulous breakfast in town, but the items at the food court looked wonderful and very Hershey’s Cocoa inspired. Loved our visit and will come back!

A tour of the actual Hershey factory operation would be fascinating, undoubtedly even with a modest ticket price involved. The “Chocolate World” exhibit is purely a sales exhibit with no actual tour; just a faked imitation sort of tour which may be okay for those in elementary school but not for most older. Because Hershey doesn’t specify that it’s a fake tour for young children, adults are misled into taking it, experience photos and all. For souvenirs and for grasping the scope of Hershey’s product line, it may still be worth a brief visit on a weekday (less crowded), especially for holiday buying. Prices are high.

If you love the chocolates and candy of the Hershey company, you will love Hershey Chocolate world. Reese's, Twizzlers, Hershey Kisses, and much more.
This place is full of candy, and chocolate, as well as the history of the Hershey Candy Company.
There is a lot to keep you busy and entertained. Characters walk through the store and are there to take photos with you and meet the kids.
You can buy all of the candy and candy-related merchandise that you desire, there are several snack stations throughout - including cupcakes, pizza, and much more.

There is a Museum of Hershey which is actually extremely well done and a lot of fun.
It starts with facts about chocolate, which may seem a little dry and uninteresting - facts like how many cocoa beans it takes to make hershey chocolate.
However, the highlight is the fun ride you take through the Hershey plant.
This is super fun, full of interesting facts and tidbits, as well as animatronics, and videos. Super fun. this should not be missed.

It is Free of Charge.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon. It was a very busy day!! Loved to chocolate your and all the candy shopping. Be sure to stop by the bakery. It was fattening just looking at the choices.

Extremely overpriced everything, from candy, to a slice of pizza for $9.00!

I can buy milk duds at Walmart cheaper than chocolate world.

No factory tour at this place, only a fake video tour of what it is supposed to look like.

As if you don't pay enough to stay at a Hershey Hotel, now they want you to pay ridiculous amiunts of money to taste chocolate, create your own candybar, watch an unimpressive 4D movie and, most important, buy, buy, buy stuff at their store. I was entirely dissatisfied with this experience. Hershey should be ashamed of themselves.

I visited Chocolate World many years ago and had a great time--didn't know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. What a great way to spend an afternoon. Take the free chocolate factory tour and eat the free chocolate!!! Milton Hershey and his wife were a class act, and it's nice to see their legacy continue. If you're so inclined, there's a 4D movie and a "make your own chocolate bar" experience (both for a fee). Make sure to get a Cacao Juice box (available in vending machines). This pressed juice comes straight from the cacao pulp, but instead of tasting like chocolate, it has its own unique and intense tropical fruit flavor. Onsite bakeries offer a wide variety of delectable treats. Indulge yourself!!

This attraction provides a wonderful overview of Hershey and the story of the candy maker that we all love. There is a free tour that provides an overview of how the candy is made but also has a massive gift shop with lots of memorabilia. There are additional optional tours that are worthwhile to consider and if your budget allows makes for a full day of fun with the family.

I don't know why but from the time I heard there was a place called Hershey I have wanted to go. From the Hershey Kisses on the light poles to the Chocolate World itself I was happy. I was a kid in a literal candy world. We made our own chocolate bars, which I recommend because, why wouldn't you? It was also fun and really cool watching it go though. The tasting is probably something for grown ups and we really enjoyed it and learned a lot. We didn't have time for the trolley tour and as much as I wanted all the chocolate treats they had there, we chose a few take homes and headed out. Very fun day day and if you are like me and love chocolate it is a must visit!
