My family & I enjoyed our stay at the Hershey Lodge. It was a nice clean place. They provide a shuttle bus to the Hershey Theme Park which is very convenient. We enjoyed breakfast at Lebbie Lebkicher's. The Bear's Den had a nice menu and the service was great! We enjoyed this after a long day of dance!

For the third year in a row, my daughter, granddaughters and I stayed at The Hershey Lodge. We continue to be pleased with all aspects of the hotel and are never disappointed. This year we requested a ground floor room near the entrance and loved it. Very easy access to all amenities and we were able to quickly catch the shuttle buses. We are already talking about our plans for next summer and hope to duplicate the enjoyable stay we just experienced.

We Stayed at the Hershey Lodge for 2 nights with the family, utilizing 2 rooms. We were assigned rooms above the main lobby. We booked the room in advance as a package. The only way to go! Package includes all tickets to the Park, Hershey Gardens, free breakfast, and more! We arrived early so drove to Chocolate World first . Then drove to the lodge.
Check in was painless. One room was ready immediately at 2PM. The other not much past 4PM. The lobby is immense . Numerous restaurants and two bars. At the main door there is a Children's Check In. Each child will have the opportunity to sign In, get an ID, and free chocolates. The Hershey mascots will be walking around for pictures. There are 3 swimming pools, one indoors. Tennis. Mini golf. Jogging. Golf. Did I mention Clean?! The pool even had a local small marching band going around performing! Every employee we had contact with was more than polite and helpful. The breakfast is excellent. Make sure you utilize the shuttle bus from the lodge. The buses run every 1/2 hour. Big buses and AC. You will be dropped off close to the main entrance. Don't drive. Hershey Lodge visitors get access to the park an hour early if you get on the bus at 0830. We left the park around 1pm (get your hand stamped) and went back to the lodge for a nap - the grand kid was worn out. Then we went back at 5 Pm . Good move. Lot of people heading home. Our last day, after checking out , we visited the Hershey Gardens. (Located below the Hershey Hotel). Beautiful gardens! Remember , the lodge is spread out. Some rooms are a short distance from the main lodge. But all within walking distance. The shuttle bus stops at 3 different locations when you are returning from the Park. You will love the Hershey Lodge!

Room Tip: Book a room in the "tower" - above the lobby . Utilize the free shuttle bus to the Hersh...

Due to our fairly close proximity to the Hershey region, we have frequented many Hershey attractions over the years. I was happy to receive a welcome packet as a Hershey Platinum guest for future bookings, due to our several visits over the past several years. This allows you to have early check-in when available, a welcome packet with several free and discounted offers for the resort and area attractions, preregistered check-in and various other perks. While visiting the Lodge on a busy August weekend, I requested an early check in so we could get settled and use the pool. Not only was our room ready upon arrival, but we were able to pick up our preregistered packet at the Concierge desk, without waiting in the long check-in line. My son can not eat milk chocolate, so when they handed us our chocolate bars and he said he couldn't have one, they immediately gave him a jumbo sized Special Dark bar just for him! He was so happy, he is still talking about! The shuttle service to the park is an added bonus for all guests, so you don't have the hassle or cost of parking. You get dropped off right at the gate. We've always been happy with this resort for all seasons, and now as a Platinum guest, we will definitely continue to return.

Room Tip: The tower rooms are central to everything, giving you easy access to the lobby and pool.

All I can say if you have issues with walking this hotel is not right for you . Watch when checking in they charge 200 extra a night for expendable. It's a nice hotel with many extras . However you can save money by staying at a cheaper hotel without the 200 a night fee .

My family and I just got back from staying at the lodge. While preparing for our arrival we had read that a room closer to the lobby would avoid a longer then normal walk to the front of the building for witch most of the restaurants and activities take place. So we had requested a room near the lobby.
Ok.... Well the room where hoping to get wasn't the first room right next to the bellhop luggage holding area. Not to mention located right in from of the pick up and drop off area.
Room 1122 has got to be the noisiest and most unsettled room in this hotel. How can a manager ever allow rolling carts and apparently a staff hangout location to be placed directly next to a room that guests are attempting to rest.
This was a major fail on the Hershey management.
Upon check-in when a guest hands over a steel Ritz-Carlton Black C.C. Anyone and I mean anyone in the hospitality industry will realize this is a seasoned traveler and cost is not an issue. (keep in mind I attempted to book the hershey hotel and apparently they had no rooms available for my time of stay)
As far as the rest of the hotel.
Pool was ok. Food was ok. I found staff a bit tired and overwhelmed by the army of lackadaisical parents and young children who felt the lobby was a free for all playground.

Mr. G. I would have brought my concerns to the front of house but understanding policy,my short stay and tired from traveling. I let things play out. Figured I would reciprocate my feelings at a later time.

We stayed at the lodge for 2 nights in July. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The accommodations were very nice, and clean! The king room had plenty of space for all our things and our pack-n-play.

The complimentary transportation to the parks was wonderful, and we never had to wait very long for a bus. A wonderful stay for our young family. Our daughter especially loved the characters who occasionally visit in the lobby.
