“Great dining experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 December 2013 via mobile

Had dinner with friends on our yearly Hershey Christmas overnight. All the entrees were really good but the smoked short ribs were the star of the meal. Good wine choices and excellent service. Definitely calls for a return visit the next time we're in town.

“Fantastic food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 December 2013

I was here for work, and decided to try having dinner here. It's a little more fancy than the other restaurants, but reasonably priced for the portions. Drinks are expensive, but they are that way throughout the resort. They work with you if you have food allergies, and the chef comes out to talk to you. The other restaurants did not have the chef come out. They only had brussel sprouts for a vegetable, which I thought was weird... The lamb burger was delicious!

“Great dinner at the Forebay”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 November 2013

We ended a very long day with a fine dining experience in the Forebay. From a friendly greeting at the door, to a super waitress, to good food, it was well worth the expense. They have many good choices and I highly recommend it.

“Enjoyable”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 October 2013

The food was better than average. The short ribs were fantastic! Two of our party had the crab cakes, not a lot of filler a few pieces of shell, to add flavor they have a mustard they serve with the pretzel bread sticks that is amazing on everything.
If you like Martinis don't overlook the HERSHEY KISS YUM! Three people dined under $100. Not suitable for small children. Worth another visit.

“Forebay is to Foreplay as Wine is to Cheese”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 October 2013

We called ahead and made a reservation for 20. Yes 20 and they were more than accommodating. Our waitress (Diamond) was just that a precious gem. She was extremely attentive especially for such a large group and having to deal with the young and old, the picky to the nonchalant characters in our group.
She took the kids orders first which is always highly recommended since we spent a long exhausting day at Hershey Park with no lunch we were glad to see that special attention was paid to the most important of guests.
#1 - PRETZEL BREAD..... MMMMMMM by far the best bread option served to me at a restaurant. Although we were given spicy brown mustard not Honey mustard which I actually prefer to be honest.
#2 FOOD - best plates of the evening Lamb Chops, Filet Mignon, Seafood Stew. All cooked to perfection. Kids Mac n Cheese with a side of fruit no complaints there. Seasonal Sam Adams to wash everything down. (only one negative. Dry Rub Ribs and they MEAN DRY. stay away from that item. however they promptly replaced it with an excellent dish and very quickly)
#3 Dessert - Milkshakes were the winner here homemade and delish.
management was complimentary of our group and very attentive to all the commotion we thought we caused :) Def would suggest this place to eat if you are staying in Hershey or just passing through. They even changed the TV to the football game for our boys who were missing a little action during the day! What more can we say The Forebay was our Foreplay!
