“Needs a better system.”
Reviewed 22 August 2013

September Farm has opened a restaurant/ food market not far from the original cheese farm. While the building is large ,with plenty of outdoor seating, the inside is a bit chaotic. First you have to stand in line to order your food, with only one person taking your order. Then after giving your order, you are given a receipt to take to the main cashier in another area to pay. Then you bring back the oriiginal receipt and the stamped paid receipt back to the ordering station and wait for your # to be called to pick up your food. Then you need to go find a seat after you fill up your beverage cup. Whats wrong with this picture?!!!!!! No wonder the line is at least 12 people long and everyone looks confused, including the man who was handing out food orders to customers the day we visited.
I ordered the chicken salad sandwich, special of the day, it was good at $4.99. Husband ordered a roast beef sandwich, on a small hoagie roll, that was on the small side. Should not be called a hoagie, because it does not resemble one at all. Their ordering process needs help.
The market side of the store was nice and offered a lot of samples just like the original store. We bout cheeses, lebonan bologna, pepperoni, cheese spread, crackers and nut brittle to enjoy at home.
Not sure it was worth the hour or so ride!
