“So beautiful, great place to spend the day”

To get there: Take a bus from one of the Jinghong Bus stations (about 30 kuai). There are a few buses but try to get to the station at 9am to get some of the earlier ones. To return, just wait at the place you get dropped off on arrival and a bus will come. Ask if they are going to Jinghong. They will probably charge you 20-30 kuai, or you will give them fuel money. Or the alternative is you can wait for a more offical bus.

Tips: Green Stone Forest at the end of the park is pretty, but it is a letdown. There are no monkeys, and everything that was mentioned would be an attraction was either not in season or entirely unimpressive (this coming from someone from Australia). There are loud Chinese yelling at the top of their lungs constantly for no reason.

The Rainforest in the middle of the park is VERY pretty and definitely worth a walk through.

The western part of the park is very well manicured and very pretty and well worth 2 - 3 hours to walk through.

The tourist information centre is modern and has helpful staff (that don't speak English unfortunately) and nice facilities.

“the best in Jinhong”
Reviewed 5 November 2013

We were part of an organized trip in Xishuangbanna area and this was for the sure the best place we've visited. Everything is in perfect harmony with the nature, and nature is quite rich.
Also many activities are held within the park. A great place to spend the entire day...

This 1200 hectares park with 63000 species of tropical plant trees and flowers is gorgeous and very well laid but I strongly recommend to pay the extra 30 RMB for an electric kart it is really worth spending an afternoon there

“A nice attraction, very beautful”
Reviewed 21 April 2013

Lots of tropical plants and flowers, interesting hiking trails and animal displays.
There was not a lot of wild animals around when we were there, as wild animals are apt to be, but we still enjoyed the visit.
