This lovely restaurant is at the SE corner of the San Juan del Sur church. There is a fun, lit, stain glass sign of the "humminbird" el colibri. The food was hot (seemingly unusual in Nicaragua) and very tasty. There were a number of vegetarian options - the Mediterranean vegetable stew on couscous was very good. The covered outdoor area was breezy, fun, and romantic - in other words, great ambiance. For a beef dish, veggie stew, 2 cervezas and passionfruit juice, + tax/tip, it came to $26 - fairly reasonable for this type of meal in SJDS. The service was comparatively good. We would return if we came back to SJDS.
