If you ever had a dream you wished never to wake up from this is it! The one thing you have to experience in life, the number one thing to do on your bucket list. I don't think there is a place similar in the world to Rancho Chilamate. The service is top class, the riders and photographers are highly professional and Blue created this magic atmosphere of the ranch you just can't miss out on. There is a blanket of soul that covers this adventure. I give my highest recommendations and hope to go back many times in the future. Have a nice ride!

To experience the real Nicaragua you must meet Blue and her cowgirls! Ranch style living at its finest. Understated rustic elegance. Amazing surroundings and authentic architecture. Killer meals. Ranch rides with professional photos to keep the memories alive forever. Best looking horses and dogs you'll see in the entire country. A trip here will make your vacation! #nicarinda #karindascrazyadventures

Blue and the crew at Rancho Chilamate are fabulous! Whether your there to enjoy the beautiful horses and some riding, the fantastic beaches, some surfing, the Nicaraguan culture in San Juan del Sur and the surrounding area, or just there to relax, this place can't be beat! The setting and accommodation are among the best Nicaragua has to offer, top that off with the crew at the Ranch and you can't go wrong. Oh, and did I mention the food? Explore to your hearts content, just make sure you are back for dinner, it's always special! Thanks Blue for sharing your little piece of paradise.

We went on a sunset ride and everything was perfect! We got boots, pants, socks and hats at the ranch and we were ready to go. It was my boyfriends first ride and the staff at Rancho Chilamate made him feel really comfortable. The galloping on the beach was amazing and the photo's that Luke took were also very beautiful. I could only recommend it to everyone!

Galloping on bareback while on a beach has been a dream of mine since watching the "Black Stallion". I did not ride on bareback, but Bandido sure galloped so fast that I could only hear the sound of the wind and feel the vibration of the hooves as they splashed the sand and the refreshing salt water. Listening to Bandido's snort, smelling his sweat, watching the veins show on his legs, feeling his power while holding the reigns as he marched excitedly with his head lifted high with pride was an experience in itself. His excitement, joy, and energy was contagious!
Our group was comprised of 3 advanced riders and 2 novice riders. My boys, who had only been on horseback once before, felt very comfortable with the horses that were assigned to them, enjoyed the ride, and loved galloping on the beach as well. It was a blast (this is an understatement) for the whole family!
The guides were thorough with the handling of the horses and were watchful over the novice riders. We enjoyed talking to the guides, who have very interesting life stories; passionate individuals of whom we learned a lot about nature surrounding us during our ride and the issues that locals face. Beautiful and well cared for horses, amazing ranch, breathtaking vistas, the sounds of many birds... need I say more?
Muchas gracias a todos en Rancho Chilamate por compartir con nosotros una experiencia inolvidable. Esperamos poder visitarlos en un futuro muy proximo.
