The prices were great. The food was good. Local feel. Also, right next to really great tour guide/adventure/charter boat place.

Food was delicious. Polo Fritto and 2 Tonas = $5

One of our peeps forget their phone and when we went back the next day they had it and returned it. We though for sure it was gone.

Just got back from dinner and we were all satisfied with our meals. We ordered pollo asado, pollo a la plancha and carne desmenusada, all came with gallo pinto, platanos and a salad. Service was quicker than most of the other local spots and our grand total was about $15 with drinks. I definitely recommend and will go back.

Angelita's is similar to the other comedors located indoors at the central market. I personally liked all of the 5 or 6 comedors in town and frequently ate my breakfasts there. The price is right, the atmosphere is sometimes bustling and entertaining and the food is basic. Best place to eat if your on a budget.

This place, tucked in a little alley just off the main roads of San Juan del Sur, was a hidden gem. The gallo pinto was delicious, the piña drink was the best I'd had yet in Nicaragua, and it seemed like the staff really liked their jobs and appreciated their guests. It was cheap too. It also has a lot of cross breeze where it sits in the shade, so it's a nice, cool place to relax and eat. I like this type of restaurant the best, and it exceeded my expectations.
