Stayed here with colleagues the night before a company meeting. My room 202 was very clean & fresh although the bathroom was very compact. I didn't have an evening meal here but the breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. The bar stayed open until 3am (so I'm told) for residents. I've said that my sleep quality was poor but that certainly was nothing to do with the facilities - more to do with other residents banging about the corridors & talking in the early hours! I'd choose to stay here again. Very nice.

This was the second time we had stayed at the waterfront lodge hotel and this was a nicer experience in many areas. ( That is not to say the previous one was all bad).
The check in was efficient and room No 103 was allocated. This room was ok but does have a sloping floor which feels a little odd but you do get use to it.
Its an old converted building so to be expected and i suppose adds to the character. There is wi fi to the rooms if you ask at reception for details
We used the bar late evening on return from an evening out and found this to be efficient and friendly
Breakfast the next day was mainly a buffet affair but for fresh eggs, fried brea,d hash browns or black pudding, could be ordered via the waitress.
location wise its located in the town centre area only 5 minutes walk from the Ritz Ballrooms where many functions and themed nights are put on.
So would i stay here again. Indeed yes.
It appears most rooms are different , some smaller or set out differently so its a bit pot luck unless u have one recommended.... i wasnt keen on room 208 which i used previously as its more suited to a single person use

Have stayed here several times and this 2 night stay stay did not disappoint. Very convenient location, close to station and with cheap pay & display parking just outside door.
Good breakfast. Used restaurant Prego twice with family. children very welcome and food good.
Only downside was couple next door having row and banging door in middle of one night, not hotel fault and fortunately one half of couple left so all went quiet again.

I had to arrange a northern based team meeting and chose the Waterfront Lodge due to proximity of the motorway complex. Nine out of fourteen delegates stayed. Rooms were well appointed and extremely roomy. Evening meal prior to the meeting the next day for all 14 was excellent with staff arranging large table to accommodate us all. The meeting venue the following day was all laid up and ready on time with the Hotel staff accommodating our every need. Lunch, once again, was excellent and speedy allowing us to complete our business agenda. Our overall impression was very good from start to finish and, more importantly, within budget set. This will be a venue that we shall use for future meetings. David R. Exmouth, Devon.

Room Tip: Can't comment - first time stay but my room on the third floor was very good.

We were here to support a fundraiser in Bradley and hotel was only a £5 taxi ride away. Room was adequate and pretty much what you'd expect for the money. Service at the front desk was great but the following morning breakfast hadn't arrived despite a wait of around 30 mins. Waitress taking orders (out of sequence) made eye contact at least 3 times before taking mine. One egg and a slice of toast can't take that long can it? I was told that they were busy but there were only around 10 people seated when I sat down.

I received a phone call soon after arriving home and, expecting an apology perhaps, was amazed when asked if I had smoked in the room. I'm a non smoker and was astonished that housekeeping had reported a smell of smoke.

If I need to visit Bradley again I'd use the hotel but will stick to the continental breakfast.

Room Tip: Room 212 (single) has had a makeover - shower only, no bath.

Thank you for your feedback. We absolutely agree that 30 minutes is far too long to wait for toast and eggs. Please accept our apologies and I can assure you that is not our normal speed, or service.

Also, I am sorry that as a non-smoker you were asked about smoking in your room. As we are a non-smoking hotel we have to be vigilant in ensuring that guests do not smoke in their room. Please accept my apologies that you were called about this.

I am pleased that you would choose to stay with us again and we look forward to welcoming you back.

Central hotel with Prego restaurant attached.Friendly staff.Small ,but adequate hotel for a short stay. Excellant food and a superb full english breakfast. We stayed for a New Years Eve celebration at the hotel and restaurant. We had an excellent night and our stay was very enjoyable. There are chain hotels with more facilities near but we didn't need anything more than this hotel had to offer.

Well i stayed at this hotel for a pre new year function in the towns Ritz Ballroom ( 5 minutes away)...... I paid £50 for a double room which was a fair value and included breakfast.
On arrival at the hotel . there is a large pay and display car park in front of the entrance. This is free overnight but is 60p per hour normally and also serves the town shoppers, so it can be busy but there again spaces do come available.......... The location of the hotel is ideal for the town center.
The reception was a quick check in and i was given a twin room......... I asked reception if they could swap it for a double and they kindly did so.......... The room itself (no 208) is nothing to shout home about and was a bit small for comfort but was functional........ Im sure some rooms are better.....
After check in we sampled the facilities in the bar which is nicely set out adjacent to the restaurant. The bar staff were again very friendly and obliging and offered advice whenever we asked anything.
We later attended the function and returned late.......... The night staff/porter was on duty and although the bar wasn't open generally we were served drinks we could take to our room........We queried breakfast and was told that the breakfast finished at 9 am........... however we were told that if we went in the cafe area of the hotel after this time we could probably get a breakfast anyway as the staff usually can accommodate this.
After that advice we went down for breakfast at 9 .30.am......... and asked for the location of the cafe. The receptionist informed me that the cafe didnt open till 11 am.
OOps......... however she did say the if we went in the restaurant area we probably would get a breakfast as the chef was still on and handnt finished clearing away......... When we went in ( and also another couple did the same) a tall waitress just said bluntly..."Breakfasts closed at 9am" This seemed to roll off her tongue so easily and sharply. I explained re the info about the cafe id been given by the night staff. but this again was cut short. The other couple left the restaurant
At that point the receptionist and chef came in and said we could have food from the serving area which was still full of breakfast items..... This was a nice gesture.
We sat at a table and helped ourselves........... Bacon sausage beans mushrooms and tomato's......which were very nice.
We asked the waitress if we could have some toast only to hear her go into the kitchen area and say "They want toast"........ we had this delivered and that was the last we saw of her. It seemed too much to ask for a cup of tea..........
After breakfast we returned to the room for a nice cuppa.......... and some orange..... as we were parched.
The checkout was efficient.
So all in all i would say apart from one rude waitress who's looks could turn you to stone... all the staff were pleasant, obliging, and did go that extra to make my stay comfortable. The restaurant is a really nice area and i would love to have had a meal there..(italian themed).
The bar likewise.
The room served a purpose.
Would i stay here again . definatley and hope to in the near future............... but must get to breaky before 9 am lol
