We came here as a group and booked all the available rooms, so it gave me a chance to look round them all.

The house is just a few minutes walk to the town centre and is on a side road, so is peacefully quite. absolutely no traffic noise at all. It has street parking and getting a space directly outside is not a problem B&B provide a free permit.

The rooms were all beautifully presented, fresh and very clean, the 2 en suites were perfect with plenty space. They have showers, but a lovely big bath is available in a separate room in the shared hallway. There was a large selection of fruit teas and plentiful supply of tea and coffee with decent size cups a TV and happily a hair dryer as Id forgot mine, The beds are very comfortable and 2 lovely thick white towels each person.

There was a rather spacious family room and another large corner room with big windows they shared a Toilet and the separate bathroom, all of the same high standard of cleanliness.

The breakfast room was light and airy with plenty cereals and my favourite peanut butter on offer, The full English was cooked perfectly with good quality produce, and the vegetarians were also provided with appropriate alternatives without fuss. we were all very impressed.

There's a nice big comfortable lounge where we sat into the early hours chatting.

This B&B has a lovely friendly atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble, They even made and decorated a very delicious birthday cake for one of our group.

We stayed 2 nights and would have happily stayed 2 weeks. There is nothing I can say to complain about this B&B we could find no faults.

Thank you for a pleasant stay, hope to stay with you again.

I stayed in Angeldale with friends whilst walking the Pennine Way. It's a lovely Victorian House in a very pleasant and quiet setting a hundred yards or so from the centre of town. The rooms were very clean and well kept, breakfast was good, and the proprietor friendly.

I first stayed at Angeldale in 2008 while walking the Pennine Way solo. My wife and I returned on a more leisurely journey this year to this excellent B&B.

Angeldale is an imposing Victorian House nestled in the very middle of charming Hebden Bridge and in a pretty garden. The rooms are a good size compared to many B&Bs and are well furnished and very comfortable. Angeldale is well presented and spotlessly clean throughout. Angeldale is good value and the owners, Stephen and Christine serve a fine breakfast.

For the Pennine Way walker Hebden Bridge is a little way off the trail but it is a lovely town with very good facilities. Staying at Angeldale made it an even better experience when I was walking long distance.

Stephen and Christine are delightful and kind hosts. Nothing seems to be too much trouble and they are able to provide great tips on places to visit.

If you are travelling by car be aware that it is on street parking with restricted times but Stephen and Christine can provide you a permit to park on the street near Angeldale.

If you are travelling by car ask Stephen and Christine to direct you to the village of Heptonstall and also to the Pack Horse Inn (good meals). If on foot you can rejoin the Pennine Way cutting through Heptonstall but be aware it is a steep climb out of Hebden Bridge.

We will be returning to Angeldale.

My girlfriend and i stayed here when visiting friends for the weekend. We would really recommend this B&B. The hosts were very welcoming, friendly but not imposing. The rooms are spacious, the breakfast was great, and the location is ideal. It is very close to all that Hebden has to offer, but is away from the hustle enough to get a good nights sleep and not be disturbed.

Would definitely return if coming back to Hebden

Very friendly owners. Imposing Victorian house in a quiet location and just a couple of minute's walk to the town square. Lovely room with a double aspect clean and warm. Walker friendly, owners happy to help with directions!
