“Turkish Delight”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 June 2014

Our visit was made on the spur of the moment, not knowing that on that day the 'Home Made' parade was is full swing, making public parking even more difficult than usual (The restaurant does not have its own parking, because it is right on the main road). The plus side was that we had a ringside seat to the passing floats!

This was our first visit on a lunchtime, so I took advanatage of the lunchtime special while my wife went a la carte. Neither of us were disppointed, the unique Turkish flavours made our visit worthwhile, as we did not want Italian, French or English cuisine that day.We enjoyed the Turkish fragrances as soon as we entered!

The portions were a good size and freshly made. The Turkish desserts were a real treat e.g a walnut set in a dried fig with a honey dressing. As we could not manage the standard amount of 2 items per dessert portion, they allowed us to share two different items on one plate, well presented with a lovey coulis!

The service is good, but slows down when the restaurant is full. The ambience is informal, plenty of small tables close together next to the bar, which serves good Turkish beer. The restaurant is easy to find, as it is next to the traffic lights in the middle of Hebden Bridge.

“Can't fault it!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 June 2014

We stayed in Hebden bridge for two nights and decided to give this restaurant a try after reading good reviews on trip advisor and we weren't disappointed. As soon as you walk into the restaurant there is a great atmosphere, traditional Turkish music gives the feel-good holiday feeling and the decor is very ambient. The menu is not too complicated with a selection of cold and hot starters (we had calamari which was delicious and def not from the deep freeze!). The main courses are either kebab style meats or pizza. We chose the mixed kebab with salad and tabbouleh which was excellent and very delicious (the meat was tender and tasty and the tabbouleh was delicious). We paid £12.95 per person for a starter and main course which is very good value. Very friendly atmosphere, lovely waitress, excellent food, can't recommend this place enough.

“Great food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 June 2014

Great dinner option for our extended family. Pizzas for the kids, awesome vegetarian mezze for me and the staff were totally fine with my in-laws not being hungry and just having an entree. So good we went back four days later!
