This is our second trip to Hebden Bridge but though we passed this place the first time and liked the menu, we ended up eating elsewhere which was ok but average. This time we planned to stop here and after checking out the reviews knew we had to give it a go. Me and my husband are meat eaters but my mum in law is vegetarian so a big draw was that she could have lunch and have a choice of what to eat. We weren't disappointed: husband had Spanish chickpea casserole with rice and we had cauliflower and dill soup with cheese/chutney sandwiches. All fab quality: soup clearly homemade, nice bread, strong cheese. So many places get these basics wrong! 2 teas (one of which was rose scented) and a hot chocolate finished us off. Overall excellent value, friendly staff and lovely food. Try it!
