“Brilliant wedding venue”
Reviewed 18 June 2014

We had our wedding ceremony in kings hall and reception in winter garden in May 2014 and it was brilliant from start to finish.
Everyone who came was raving about what a great looking wedding venue it was and it looked fantastic on the day with the theatre lighting making for excellent photo opportunities in spite of torrential rain outside.
The food was delicious, especially the Yorkshire puddings and the staff could not do enough to help us from the minute we went to look round to last orders at the bar on the day itself.
Compared to other venues in the area it is well priced too.
Highly recommended wedding venue!

“Friendly theatre”
Reviewed 5 March 2014

Have been here a few times and much prefer it to the larger theatres such as the Alhambra or St Georges Hall. Because it's smaller the atmosphere is more friendly & loads of nice pubs & eateries close by.

“Nice Venue”
Reviewed 1 January 2014

Went to a wedding here, the catering and ambience were great.

Disco was a bit slow to start, but of course that is probably because the propensity to dance is directly related to what has been imbibed!

came to see this show @the Kings Hall , a while ago .by the the upstager's. a lovely production. all the cast were superb. a bit chaotic going in as was very busy , the door staff were fairly good, is a lovely place ,only complaint the lights should have been dimmed ,too light, is a beautiful place , did go again .saw songs from the shows , all were good . but was too light , we the audience should have been in the dark , they need to sort this out , the Alhambra is correct , we don't sit with the lights on r dimmed soon a the show starts ,lit on again at the interval. seating was alright , would certainly visit again. liked all the lights above the stage , was amazed the first time I went ,as I live in Shipley so had to have a taxi, well worth it ,
