Ilkley is one of our favourite places to visit, we found coach house cottage by chance and what a find. It's situated at the bottom of Ilkley moor, lots of walks right on the doorstep and a steady walk down to the town. The cottage is very well equipped and a lovely retreat.
Love this place! Beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable cottage equipped with everything you need. Delicious homemade cake on arrival! Great location - Ilkley is a lovely town with great playground near the river and an outdoor lido, the moor is on the doorstep for beautiful walks, and plenty of great days out nearby (we went to Bolton Abbey, Skipton and York). The grounds and the facilities of the lodge are a real advantage; the children love the wendy house, trampoline and the animals, and we enjoyed making use of the gym and hot tub, plus plenty of spots to sit outside and read/relax. This was our second stay and we'll be coming back!
We were absolutely stunned walking into this special place. Everything was thoughtfully put together.
We really would have liked to stay longer! Our English friends who came to stay loved it too. Tim and Justine proofed to be very friendly and flexible. I can just imagine how lovely it will be here in summer. Walks in the moors just outside the premises. Our dog was warmly greeted as well. We will definitely try to return!
This is a lovely cottage with every comfort to make your stay enjoyable.
The personal welcome and service is excellent and nothing is too much trouble.
We loved being able to step out of the cottage and find great walks in any direction, up onto the moors, or down into Ilkley and the river.
Would recommend to everyone!

Great location and an even better cottage. The grounds were fabulous and we found that its a great location not just for our 6 year old but also for our elderly grandparents. We are definitely going back and would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone.
Tim, the owner, could not have been more accommodating, knowing that there would be two children staying in the cottage he made sure there was a box of toys for them to play with along with a selection of kids DVD's. And the icing on the cake after a 5 hour drive was the homemade Victoria sponge which was waiting for us upon arrival. Class!
