A weekend stay proved to be delightful. From the warm and inviting welcome from reception and booki-in (Sophie) to the dinner, breakfast and general polite and welcoming staff throughout. How easy the staff find it to be charming. Pre-dinner drinks in the bar to then have dinner in the restaurant was memorable and delicious. The good old-fashioned service, with huge attention to detail was magnificent. Having my Steak Diane flambed at the table by Babs was very special indeed along with her exceptional service and smiling face. What a terrific member of staff who clearly has a passion for her job. Her colleague Adrian was equally as charming and helpful. The service here is unique and first class. More flame came later with a crepe and delicious ice cream. We met a few locals who shared our impression of how lovely the restaurant and overall experience at Wentbridge is. Breakfast was tasty and again of a high standard with large selection and friendly staff. The continental selection table could have done with being refreshed more and ensuring glasses were restocked but they were very busy running to customers and doing their best. Bedrooms are very nice indeed and very comfortable. Good shower and very nice shampoos and soaps provided. We'd stay here again and again, cannot wait to bring friends to the restaurant - what a lovely experience indeed.
