We had two rooms booked for a family trip, we are frequent users of Travelodge and this refurbished place was great. Room was clean and very well presented. The duty staff, male, sorry I forgot your name, was brilliant on both arrival and leaving. Spent time chatting to our granddaughter, who equally enjoyed the chat. Thanks for your special efforts, only sorry I forgot you name.

You get what you pay for. A clean comfortable on suit room. Food next door as in Burger King/Little Chef. No on site restaurant. Great night sleep. We did not hear any noise from other guests or the main road outside. Reception staff very friendly and helpful.

Sorry for the Long review........ I was in two minds as to whether or not to book this hotel after reading some of the previous reviews, it was a toss up between the travelodge or the holiday inn. I was slightly concerned after reading one review which referred to a 'smell'. I'm quite particular about these sorts of things and I didn't want my entire weekend ruined because there was a dodgy smell. However as only one reviewer had mentioned this in the end I made the decision to go with the travelodge as it was the cheaper option and closer to stonehenge, our reason for the visit. I believe that previous reviewers had too high expectations for a travelodge hence the poor reviews. This is not a five star hotel and should not be expected to live up to such high standards. It is a pit stop in a services. It has all the facilities required, t.v, bathroom, towels and toilet paper and the room was clean, neat and tidy. Yes, there was a particular odour but this was only down to the cleaning chemicals used and nothing to turn your nose up at, it was not a bad smell. I would definetly recommend and would stay here again myself. But when quickly looking at places to eat etc before our journey I noticed a harvester so thought this would be a great place to walk to, have food a drink and walk back but the journey is down an A road so could not walk it but this was my mistake for not checking the route before hand. There is a petrol station, little chef and Burger King on site which is fine for a breakfast and a quick bite to eat but it would be nice if there were tables outside so you could get some fresh air and sit in the sunshine. As previously mentioned, the travelodge is on an A road so there is a small amount of road noise but it did not stop me from having a good night sleep and it did not disturb or bother us at all. Overall we have had a great experience and would urge others not to be put off by other reviews.

We booked in for an early arrival at this Travelodge and were even allowed into our room earlier then that. The manager quickly re-organised our rooms so that we could get our heads down after a night flight from Orlando to Gatwick, so we were very grateful for this. All the staff were friendly and helpful, so we will certainly stay here again.

hotel would be a winner if the refurb was done to a high standard and not just adhoc, I got new bed but old tatty bathroom, shame really as we need accommodation for 6 months on off down here. Place look tired from the outside, especially when you see the solstice park site half a mile up the road, the Travelodge site and adjoining restaurant, need a radical overhaul to maintain pace and keep customers happy, poor lighting to car parks and very little security if any which is worrying these days

Booked 3 rooms for a Saturday night. Ideal location for meeting up with family who live in Bulford. All the rooms were really clean and nicely decorated. Have stayed in Travelodges before and this was definitely the best. The bed was comfy and although we overlooked the main car park there was very little noise. The staff were really friendly and helpful and we will be returning again.

Room Tip: Pick an upstairs room with nobody above you.
