Ideally located for visiting Stonehenge. However, the bathroom was dirty and had dried toothpaste on the wall, and the lid of the bin looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a few months. The room lacked facilities such as a mug and pillow, and the child mattress was on the floor with one wheel, not four, making it un-level and difficult to move. Staff not particularly helpful.

Very basic, typical, Travelodge accommodation with absolutely no frills. Need to find somewhere to eat as on site is only Burger King or Little Chef - i.e. no real choice. Try to park in the very small main car park, remote car park does not appear very secure. Difficult to know where quietest rooms are as the hotel is surrounded by roads on car park exit roads with traffic throughout the night.

Visited as a stop over on a long trip. Arrived to find a sign on the reception stating reception is manned 24 hours.....evidently not in the 10 mins or so we and another couple stood waiting. Finally the other couple were booked in but asked to wait whilst the man serving ran off with a bottle of cleaner to make sure the room was ready. A lady was walking back and forth behind the reception desk but didn't look at or address the others waiting..not even to say someone would be with us shortly. We were finally booked in by a young man who had just arrived and got straight to work. He ran off to make sure our room was ready too..which it was and there was no mistaking it had been cleaned due to the overwhelming smell of cleaning solutions that meant we had to open the windows and leave the room for a while. Bed was comfy and the room as nice enough but very warm and not a lot of air flow. Only real complaint was that the extractor fan in the shower stayed on all night which meant we had to shut the toilet door.....which stuck in the frame and made one heck of a bang when we tried to open it in the night!

Not easy to find, signage is poor especially at night. Locals were unaware that it existed. Rooms tired and dated. However, slept well. One of our party experienced extractor not switching off problem, staff were nice and helpful about moving them to a better room.

We were going to Salisbury race course for a 40th birthday - and there were eight of us .
When trying to book anything nearer it seemed everything was either hugely expensive, booked up or unable to accommodate us all.
So with every one with different budgets we went with the travel lodge .
It turned out to be next to a happy eater and a small Burger King - part of a services .Frances on the desk was really friendly and helpful .
The rooms are a bit 'tired' but clean and comfortable and basic - but did the job. The single 'camp ' bed a little small - but good value .
