We stayed here for one night visiting Stonehenge and it was perfect for us. Clean, comfortable, quiet and great value for money. Tom was really helpful and another member of staff we met was really friendly and helpful. We didn't eat there but nipped one junction up for dinner at Pizza Hut and breakfast at costa which were both great for us.

We wished to visit Stonehenge so looked up the nearest travel lodge which was Amesbury, this is certainly the closest if traveling by car but not suitable for anyone using public transport, you arrive at Amesbury and unfortunately there is no public service from the town to Stonehenge therefor taxis are needed at about £14 each way when you could have booked a tour from outside the station at Salisbury for £28 per person and stayed in Salisbury, However this did not detract from our enjoyment the staff at the hotel were the friendliest I have met. the room was clean and comfortable and there was a Burger King/Little hef ext door Ideal

Room Tip: Look for the Burger King sign to find the hotel as it is verfy poorly signed

My room smelt awful of vomit, and the carpet on the left hand side of the bed was damp. kept awake by doors banging, so dont have a room by reception. Water in the bathroom very difficult to regulate, could easily scald yourself on the hot water.

Great stay at this travelodge very close to amesbury 10 min walk. Amens bury is a very pretty and welcoming town wish mine was like it. Hotel was spotless and staff were great. Very close to Stonehenge if needed. Will return to this part of England as we had never been before.
