“Lovely stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 August 2013

Just had two nights at the Fairlawn and can't recommend it highly enough - very warm welcome and helpful - great breakfast to set you up for the day. Ideally placed for sightseeing in the area. Rooms were great - often a single room is like a broom cupboard but not here - lots of room and lovely shower in the en suite - thanks for a great stay

Friendly welcome and accomodating with requirements. The bed was more comfortable than my own at home, the room was quieter than my own, and the breakfast was to die for, amazing bacon and black pudding. Would have liked a sunday paper to read over breakfast but you can't have everything.

Room Tip: I had the single en suite room which has a small double bed in it. Room wasn't huge but big enou...

Spent only one night there and the owners couldn't have been kinder. If you are traveling with a family, you don't need to look anywhere else but here. Very kid friendly with toys in the sitting room and lovely conversation at the bar with Keith. You can truly tell that Keith and his wife love what they do and it shows in all the wonderful touches in the home. We will be back! Truly the best B and B we have ever stayed at and we travel extensively.

Stayed one night (a Saturday) in June 2013. For those planning on visiting Stonehenge, particularly if you have tickets to visit the inner circle outside of the regular hours, Fairlawn House is ideally located about two miles from Stonehenge.

Our room was spacious and clean with a bath/shower combination in the bathroom. The free WiFi was very good. There is ample free parking behind the premises. Check-in and check-out was easy and the staff were friendly and helpful.

An excellent breakfast is served in the downstairs breakfast room. The full English breakfast, cooked to order, is complimented with a good selection of cereals and juices, etc.

There are a number of restaurants/pubs located within walking distance. The Hotel George is located about 100 yards away and can be a bit noisy on the weekend, particularly if your room faces the street.

We would certainly stay here again.

We stayed at this B&B for one night whilst visiting Salisbury and the local area. We received a friendly welcome when we checked in, and this welcoming atmosphere continued throughout our stay. Our room was clean and well decorated. It had an en suite with modern fixtures & fittings.
We were given helpful advice on where to find free overnight parking, and also told about local pubs and restaurants. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and freshly cooked. The waitress was friendly and helpful. All in all we had a very pleasant experience and would certainly return here.

Keith and Tracy made us both feel at home. Our room was a bit small, but adequate. The place was very clean and quiet. I had a long conversation with Keith at the bar where we solved all the world's problems and spent a very relaxing afternoon. We got up very early the next morning and went to Stonehenge, came back, showered and had a wonderful breakfast. I highly recommend this very good place. Also- has off-street parking.
