“anyone for tennis?”

Cherry Tree barn offers a superb base to explore all that Wiltshire has to offer (Longleat, Bowood House, Stonehenge, Bath, etc.), and the accommodation is modern, fresh & clean, but at the same time homely (especially with the log burner in full flame!).
The owners are very knowledgeable about local attractions and the best travel plans, which we found extremely helpful, and the welcome pack of food and drink was a nice touch.
Our 8yo son really loved having the use of the tennis court which is at the rear of the let, and would have spent all week there happily. There is also use of an outdoor swimming pool in the summer months, but we just missed the date for this, plus it was still pretty chilly, and we aren't that brave!!! But, that's another reason for us to stay again in the future.

“Stunning view, spot on accommodation”

So at short notice I need somewhere to stay whilst I had work being done on my place. I was so lucky to find Cherry Tree.
Quite simply this was a wonderfully relaxing few days. The location and views over the Wiltshire countryside are stunning. The accommodation is a brilliant combination of modern and country chic.
I wish I lived further away so that I could go to Cherry Tree on holiday every year.

“A perfect honeymoon!”

An amazing place to stay in beautiful surroundings, run by lovely people. It was modern clean and tidy with every little extra we might need thought about, down to a hairdryer, foil, butter, cereal, milk, yoghurt and even home made bread.
It gave us a good base to explore the local area, although we'd of been happy not to have gone anywhere, relaxing in front of the real fire and enjoying the views. Really didn't want to come home!
Thank you Marion and James. We will definitely be back x

My wife and I were looking for somewhere to explore the Wiltshire countryside and local sites (Bowood House, Stonehenge etc) that was within reach of Bath. Cherry Tree was ideally placed for this. Aside from the views (which were amazing!), the accommodation was of high quality, felt homely and was good value for money. We'd certainly come back, possibly in the summer to take advantage of the tennis court and swimming pool. This one goes on the recommended list!

“I would have happily moved in!”

My husband and I, and our three children stayed at Cherry Tree Barn for the October half term. It was a rainy afternoon when we arrived and with 2 young children and a baby in tow we were keen to get to our destination! The owner, Marion was lovely and quickly showed us round the barn so we could settle in. The property was so delightful, the décor and quality of finish was excellent and there were lots of items to make life easier (washing tablets, butter, WINE and beer! and many more things we really needed). The homemade bread was yummy and devoured for breakfast the next day! The front door opened onto an open plan sitting room/kitchen with wood burner. A few steps led up to a dining area with doors opening onto a tennis court, which our kids loved and meant we could throw the door open every morning and let them loose (hurrah!). There were two bedrooms, one double room, which we also had a lovely travel cot in, which Marion supplied. The other bedroom had twin beds in which our two eldest children slept in and loved with their feather duvets which they don't have at home!! Clean and modern bathroom. We went out most days, Bowood House is literally a few miles away and was a winner with our children and us! A couple of days we stayed on the premises and played tennis and walked in the grounds and just relaxed as it was a holiday for us too! So in summary....I can't recommend Cherry Tree Barn highly enough, we felt really at home there and I just wish I had an excuse to return soon!
