With an on-site Sample Bar, Brewery Shop & Visitor Centre, there's certainly much more to Wadworth - a visit to see our Shire Horses, who deliver our ales across town each week day, is highly recommended! The Visitor Centre is FREE admission, however fees apply to our guided tours. Scheduled tours are available daily at 11am & 2pm, catering for up to 50 people, prices start from £10pp. Brewery Tours include a visit to the main production areas, our on-site Sign Studio; where guests can gaze at our unique hand painted pub signs, followed by a visit to the Stables, finishing with a tutored beer sampling session. Our Visitor Centre & Brewery Shop is open each week day from 9am-5pm (except bank holidays), and is always well stocked with your favourite Wadworth ales and gifts.

“Fab few hours”
Reviewed 6 August 2014

I'm not a fan of beer/ale but my partner is
We were booked in by a polite young lady they kept saying we just waiting for 1 more person to arrive then we will get going (nothing worse than waiting when your not informed)
We started tour just about 1.55 given lovely high vis jackets to wear
We were taken on the tour by a young man called Dec who explained a few things b4 we started and off we go
We climb what seems like 100 stairs so comfy feet is a must Dec explained everything really well a few tasters on route but not what you think
Around the building we go and I have to say very interesting and fascinating

As I said I'm not a fan of beer but I tried 3 of them

Excellent value for money would deffo recommend this tour

I would say you need to be steady on your feet and be prepared to stand about a bit but well worth it

The horses are magnificent !!

“great afternoon your”
Reviewed 3 August 2014 via mobile

I was given tickets for a tour of the brewery for a birthday present. The tour was interesting and our guide gave enough information without going into too much detail.

The sampling at the end made all the stairs on the route worthwhile.

“A great birthday present”
Reviewed 22 July 2014 via mobile

I was given a tour of the brewery for a birthday present and it proved to be an enjoyable day. Our guide ("Dec") was informative and funny.

The tour is billed as lasting 90 minutes. It was closer to 2 hours but this is no complaint.

At the end of the tour there is a tasting session of all Wadworths ales. Most enjoyable! Glad I wasn't driving!

The brewery is an old building with lots of steep steps. So bear this in mind.

“Brewery Tour”
Reviewed 10 July 2014

We had a very interesting tour. Our guide was very informative and knew everything you could possiably want to know about brewing beer. We were shown the old part and the new brewing process, lots of stairs so wear sensible shoes. We saw the pub sign-writing and the beautiful shire horses and then we were back for the beer tasting, it was nice to try different ales as you tend to stick to the ones your used to. They also have a lovely little shop which is well stocked. We had a very enjoyable afternoon.

“A really great experience!”
Reviewed 12 June 2014 via mobile

We visited Wadworth Brewery on tuesday 10 June and booked in for the 2 o clock tour. Our guide was Beki. She was really interesting, and was clearly very knowledgable. Learnt loads, stroked the beautiful shire horses, and finished off with a beer taster!! We have lived in Devizes for 6 years, but have never done this tour. It was well worth it. Thanks again to Beki
